You would think after all the problems with ashes 09 codies would have put a bit more effort into this game, yet we get the same old problems with dodgy servers, quitters and buggy gameplay.
Also why dont codies change the commentary,we have had it for 11 years since blc 1999.If i hear i would pay money just to watch that again i think i will eat my xbox controller.
I think i actually prefer ashes 09 imo.
I suppose i already knew this before i bought a copy,i was hoping to be pleasantly suprised thats all.Oh well never mind.:facepalm

I think you should change the title to include "online."

IC10 is a great game on Hard mode, its just that online is set to normal and that makes it a slogfest.

Offline, IC10 is great, but I agree that online its a poor game.

I will write up my detailed review soon but offline IC 2010 is a better game but on the other hand, AC 09 has its own charm which IC 10 can't snatch away. Online it looks brilliant but there has to be some stoppage of quitters. One solution is that it should be in a percent form like another game WWE Smackdown vs Raw Series. The disconnections comes in proportion for each and every player and one can easily judge whether to play with him or not if that percentage is high enough.

Or just give the person who is quit on the win, at least there will be some sense of satisfaction and achievement out of the time, not just another wasted hour :(

Agree with the repetitive commentary... Agger's "Amazing Fielding" that's doesn't sound right.

Online is pants. Not nice lacy ones either. Virender and I just spent an hour trying to play each other without success. Great offline, bag of cold sick online. Usually it's the other way around with games, the times they are a changing.

We finally got a way to play a full match i.e. by just playing grounded strokes.
I do not understand this, we can play full game while playing just grounded shots and as soon as we loft the ball we'll surely get a disconnection.
Is codies forcing people outside UK to play proper cricketing shots? LOL
And how would you convince your opponent to not to play a lofted shot?

Virender Sehwag added 1 Minutes and 44 Seconds later...

yet we get the same old problems with dodgy servers, quitters

Man you can't even count how many times we tried to get a complete game and each time we failed.

Agreed about the offline play.

That's a real shame about the online deficiencies.

This is what you get with lack of competition. What is so hard in letting the users chose their difficulty in online matches? Or including the % disconnect figure from Street Fighter 4/WWE games that pretty much kills quitting problems?

Really hope EA Sports step it up with cricket next year.

I haven't seen any advertising at all except for one billboard as I traveled through an obscure Welsh village last week!:facepalm:p

Has anyone experienced low frame rates in the game on offline mode especially during cutscenes ? please reply

This game is better than AC09 but still they didn't did too much promotion like they did for AC09. Also, doing promotion in India is waste of money since very less people own 360/PS3 in India in comparison to PC. It would be worthy if they could have advertised AC09 in India.

Poor strategy!
