Pakistan's tour of England - August/September - 3 Tests/3 T20Is

Bad light is very bad:lol

Can't disagree.

Misbah also bought a lot of respect and dignity to Pakistan when it's name was being dragged through the mud because of some corrupt bast@rds. There are still some idiots on the tv who do that without achieving an iota of respect through their deeds like Shoaib Akhtar and Tanveer Ahmed. They should be brand ambassadors of microphones, that's all.

Can someone tell me also why Fawad Alam was batting with the technique he was? I don't remember him batting like that last time I saw him?

He still had a weird stance when playing ODIs in 2014/15. It seems to have got weirder since, but it's brought him lots of runs in domestic cricket.

Fawad always had a slightly unorthodox setup since his early days. In 2012/13, he further modified it and became even more unorthodox. The current stance that he has was adopted by him in the 2016/17 season (maybe inspired by Chanderpaul?).

By the way, not trying to undermine his abilities or demean him, but he hasn't been that brilliant since the last year or so. Age has started catching up. He has had his purple patches here and there but has had a bit of inconsistency looming over him, in the last year or so

This is the biggest reason why I have tremendous respect for Misbah. He lifted us from the darkest days. Led us well in Tests and decently in ODIs but most importantly, with dignity. I used to always be calm until the time he was batting, no matter it was 1/4 or 300/1. You could never doubt his intentions and would know that he'll bring the team back to a respectable total.

Unfortunately, with countless corrupt officials being appointed in high-offices in the past has meant that dignity is no longer something important.

A commenter on Cricinfo suggested playing with a similarly aged pink ball when there is bad light. Not a bad idea.
