Pakistan's tour of England - August/September - 3 Tests/3 T20Is

Gotta love Pakistan: the extender of endangered careers! :p

Which is unfair : the lads are giving it their all and havent had all the luck in the world but some of the captaincy decisions are very debatable.

Root nearly nicked that...

Hopefully Root can start converting promising 8's into more consistent scores in the teens......

If Azhar and Shafiq picked up the burden from Babar and Masood, and we had a good captain, this team could do wonders. Azhar has consistently proven to be a too defensive captain.

Just one maiden before lunch. Tells you how inconsistent Pakistan have been with the ball, and how proactive England have been in making the scoreboard tick.

Bring in Saud Shakeel and Usman Salahuddin for Azhar and Asad, if they keep playing like this, make Masood or Rizwan captain, and start over, I say. Abbas can hang around for a few years, his bowling style isn't too burdensome, and the rest of the team is young. Imran Butt, Sami Aslam, Sahibzada Farhan, Haider Ali, Zeeshan Malik can all make a case for Test selection.

Shaheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen do something my man!

Just saw on Cricinfo that Azhar had removed the third slip... in the first session of a Test match in England, after a player was caught at fourth slip earlier.
