Easy to put 2&2 together here. The build up to recent India v Pakistan encounters has been quite intense. Add to that, the WCL or whatever that thing is- they didn't go ahead with the Ind V Pak encounter. The backlash in India is already huge and I'm sure they will either cancel the Asia Cup or change the grouping.

India's next Test series will be against the West Indies at home in October. I would like to see some new faces even though most of the squad is already figured out. Not convinced with either of Sudharsan or Nair at 3. Sai did score a fifty so Nair might get the axe. We already know what Jadeja offers so would like to see someone else play along with Sundar. Tanush Kotian was doing great but makes no sense to have two right-arm off spinners.

And please let Siraj have some rest. Plus I don't rate him that much as the second seamer.

I wonder what happened to our fast bowling reserves? During B Arun's tenure + Dravid at NCA , we had a steady flow.

Questions should be posed to Paras Mhambrey, Morkel and Laxman in terms of the non-existent pipeline.
