Slectors have robbed Varun Aaron again based on his test form. How the fearsome tweak does Binny get into the team?

There is no need on 3 spinners in the team as Australia pitches are in favour of pace. I dont see any requirement of Axar Patel as there are already 2 quality spinners and batsmens like Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma can bowl some overs in middle.

I was very happy that Yuvi will be given a place in this team but Binny took away his chance. The people here around me say that Binny's father Rozer Binny who was in selectors team has recommended his son for selection. And selectors honoured his request.​

Binny's selection:
All-rounder who can bat a bit. Plus we need a seam bowling AR in Australia not a spinning AR. Binny is quite capable with the bat as well. Of the 4 bowlers selected, none can bat barring Bhuvi. But Bhuvi can't win you a match when you need 20 off 12,something that Binny can very well do.

Axar is more like a cover for Jadeja, in case Jadeja gets injured or is woefully out of form. Axar's batting is much better than Sir RJ and its possible that he may get a few more games.

I was surprised at Mohit's exclusion. He looks sharp and bowls well and could have been an added advantage in the conditions Down Under. I didn;t quite expect Umesh Yadav to make the cut, but nothing can be done now.

But if there is any truth to that, then I sympathize with both Vijay and MSD.

I'm okay with the squad. Rayudu, Binny and the godsend Ishant Sharma. These three are very lucky to be part of that squad.

80% of the squad is pretty reasonable and fair.

Why ? What exactly is the logic behind this ? I genuinely want to know

I don't see why a player like Kohli should be warming the seat instead of being out in the middle controlling the game.

Now India had an option of going to either Bhuvneshwar Kumar or Umesh Yadav, but they chose Mohit. Dhoni was asked the reason for going to a player from outside the World Cup squad, and he said, "Who should have played?"

"Why, there are Bhuvneshwar and Umesh," was the response.

Dhoni replied rather mysteriously: "There has to be a reasoning, no? That's why they haven't played."

May be because he doesn't want the seamers to get injured.But that too is bit foolish because just to prevent injury you can't waste valuable match practice.
