Yes, but when Sunil Gavaskar starts talking about "converting the ones into twos and the twos into threes" I want to laugh out loud... :D

I would still take Sunny over Ian. Ian gets on my nerves too much. Rather be alive and annoyed than die of annoyance.

Why was Joginder selected in the first place ?
Dinesh Mongia or Murali Kartik would have been better options.

Hahahaha!
Unless Joginder is dreadful in both capacities I doubt picking a specialist batter or a specialist bowler is better.

Why is Rohit Sharma not given a chance against a lesser known team in Scotland? This is an OK team but we should have taken more chances against Scotland. You can expect this sort of team against Pakistan, not Scotland.

Anyways, this rain is irritating. If rain washes the game out today, we will have to win against Pakistan to enter the Super Eights and its not that easy (though if it rains tomorrow also, we enter the Super Eights with two points as opposed to Scot's 1 point).

Also if the game gets reduced to 5 overs a side, it gives even more chance for Scotland to cause an upset. Frustrating!

This rain situation for 20-20 is a bloody farce. I cannot seriously believe that they'll have a shortened version of an already short form of the game.

It's ridiculous what the organizers will do for money. I cannot believe it when Harsha said they could actually have a 5-5 game? That's stupid. Might as well toss a coin to decide who wins.

They should play a 20-20 in full otherwise it's a farce.

Agarkar in T20??? He's the last bowler we need in this format. We know he's about the most generous Indian bowler over the years in 50 over cricket.

What has he got to offer for a T20 side? No batting, length bowling which will get clattered around and decent fielding...

if there is no play today and then india lose tomorrow, would they need to lose by less runs that scotland lost by.

probably yes... india might need to make sure of that, but i feel india will try to go for a win. its better try to do that!

Seeing the weather, cant rule out a washout for both matches. if both games are washed out, india qualify for the super eights without playing a game.
