Medhurst got his first 20 possession game today Anthony looked good in his first game, dropped a couple of marks but he managed to get a couple of goals in his first game. Rocca had a good one, as did Thomas, how about that goal?

Nathan Brown looks the goods down back, and with Presti out until at least Round 10 he has really made his home down there. Wood has been good in the ruck and around the ground....and Maxy had a good one as well as Harry O!

Got a bit worried there in the early stages of the Third, the Tiges had a run on but after half time they only pegged back 2 points as they were 46 behind going into the second half and lost by 44.

Though to their credit they were good in the second half the Tiges, too many skills errors cost the Tigers, and Tambling turned it over too many times.

Your club just wishes they had a SUPERSTAR like Lance Franklin.

That's why Kevin Sheedy was sooooo desparate to get Franklin but Franklin decided he wanted to stay with a better football club who'll win a premiership within the next few years.

We beat Geelong last year but they didn't beat us.

I wasn't impressed with Geelong today, if they didn't play such a lack-skilled team then they would've been blown out of the water if they had've played Sydney, Hawthorn, Bulldogs, Saints, Collingwood or Adelaide because their midfield made so many errors and were so slow and lathagic and half of their goals came from stupid mistakes that wouldn't be made by a higher class team.

And we did flog Freo, we controlled the entire game and there was no way Fremantle were ever going to win and even when Fremantle came back, we blew them out of the water.

Did it start to rain down that way? Looked fine when I was watching before crossing over to watch the Collingwood game.

The Cats from what I saw came out cocky and the Dees played as if they had nothing to lose, and almost pulled off the upset of the season. The Dees aren't as bad as they have played in Rounds 1 and 2...but it was good to see them not get belted.

I just hoped they would be wounded for Queens birthday...

Yep the adelaide showdown was great its normally a pretty boring game.
And the western derbys are normally fierce physical encounters.
This years derby was pretty boring for a derby.

More like freo gave it to them.

Freo played good for only 1 quarter(3rd) they moved the ball fast an applied so much pressure on the hawks freo completely dominated that quarter.
Then in the 4th they went back to overusing the ball an going sidewards,backwards any way but straight forward same crap they did in first 2 quarters.

Hawks really should have killed us the way we played.

His not as good as Cyril Rioli. Cyril is gonna be a superstar like Buddy Franklin.

His just another name to the long list of talent that Hawthorn possess.

Gee, you think:, palmer is gonna be better than cyril i totally agree with hoops. Palmer had to get 20 staples in his head in the opening minutes after being kicked in the face accidentally. Than in the next quarter he got 16 disposals. Sure he faded in the second half but thats with lack of expireance palmer is going to be, (if he continues doing what he is doing) the next judd, and he totally had the potential and skill to be. Oh and ben, no you didn't flog us, we kepped with you, not for one stage did you look like beating us by over 40 points, when you got the run freo came back simple as that. And how could they flog us when they only won by 16 points. Take That!

Pretty good game, I am going to need to watch the replay of it during the week as I missed the first half.

Did Tarrant line up in the WAFL? Was he dropped, or was he injured? Some have said he was injured but the commentators at the start of the game said he was dropped from the game....some Freo supporters over at Bigfooty had claimed there was a chance he was going to retire, but I think they are just being morons.
