Afl 2008

Yeah but if he didnt kick as accurate as he did. 5 goals 2 behinds. We would have never have got within 1 point anyway i reckon.

I wonder how many Geelong supporters suddenly closed their eyes when Pavlich had that kick for goal...it would have been interesting to see the last few seconds of the game if he did...

I was looking on the Herald Sun's tipping page and the majority of their "experts" are tipping the Pies to beat Collingwood, I also found it amusing the Dermie thinks the Pies will win by 23 points...I didn't watch the end of the Hawks/Tiges game, but I didn't expect to see the "Tipping experts" to go for Collingwood...I mean I tipped us out of blind loyalty to the team :p

But in saying that the Pies could beat Hawthorn...if we played well and kicked goals and not behinds like last year...Burnsy back for his 250th this week hopefully we can do it for him. :)

Don't worry Ben, we know you have the Hawkers down to flog the Pies ;) but if we were to lose it'll be a tight affair...going to be won in the final quarter, imo.

Yeah should be a ripper match. game of the round. Nah but ive bookmarked it. Collingwood will own the pies by 10 goals. Easy pick.

:D Oops.

This is what happens when you type when you are feeling under the weather you manage to bugger it all up! Seriously though, I was reading the Supertipping site and saw that the majority had tipped the Pies.

The one that surprised me the most was Dermie picking the Pies by 23 points, now I had hoped the Maggies would win the game, but it's a bit of wishful thinking to suggest it'll be 23 or more points.:p

Hmm, Collingwood's a hard team to pick. Their either on or really off. But itl be a close one either way, looking forward to it.

Collingwood have an 8 day break, Hawthorn have a 6 day break.

Collingwood is my most hated team and its the one team I wouldn't want Hawthorn to lose to, lol.

I wouldn't be supprised if Hawthorn lost, but rest assure Medhurt won't be doing any celebrations from kicking goals on the boundry but Franklin will. ;)

Someone who plays in my football u18s team has a scholarship with Collingwood.

Eagles lost :). Blues kicked 8 goals to non in the second quarter. West Coast fought there way back from 53 points down early in the third term to 9 points down midway through the last. But the Blues held on and ran out winners by 38 points i think....?

I am disappointed with the final quarter, Collingwood just gave up, they didn't look interested, someone should have called the game 5 minutes in because they last quarter was just ****.

Contrary to popular belief we do not create the fixture, and we do not sit down with Andy D and speak about how to make the fixture to our advantage if we did, we would not have played games at the Telstra Dome last season, we would not travel at all...hell we'd just be given 4 points without showing up..

The AFL fixture will always be uneven due to the fact that the Interstate teams travel more then anyone even making teams play each other twice will not fix this as the interstaters will still travel more.

Adding another team in NSW, and QLD is a stupid idea, there is not a massive market in NSW and QLD to warranting them to get a 2nd team. Might as well add another team in Victoria, and another team in WA, actually a 3rd team in WA might work more then the team in Queensland or NSW.

But the point I made about the extra Vic team is that they will struggle for supporters, as there is a limited market already and when they start to lose their team will suffer greatly. I hope Andy D will fall on his sword and resign and admit he's a moron if both teams fail.

that performance by freo was absouloutely disgraceful there supporters should be disgusted, no HEART and no SOUL. a 50 point turn around to a rabble like melboune. there is just no excuses, Pav would be wishing he came home.

talking about a team that im proud to support, and the crows keep rolling along and imo are better than the bulldogs at full strength.

And hawthorn are playing better than geelong. they have so many bonafide superstars i think there biggest weakness is their backline, and even that is pretty damn good!! :hpraise

anybody not really looking forwards to the vic allies game? Im just gonna be praying that nobody gets injured
