Buddy Franklin is the greatest footballer in the entire league and his only 21!!!

I'll admit Buddy is an absoloute brilliant player, and at only 21 he will be the best player.
At the moment I don't think he is, as 2/3 goals a game are simple ones, and he will miss a fair few shots due to his run up.
In a fw years, even possibly next year he WILL be the Best Player, I just don't think he is right now.
Saying that, 9 goals is a remarkable feat, definately Player Of The Round.

On another note, another win for the Dogs Aker kicking 6, great for us to be succeeding, and Callan Ward kicked a goal in his debut game.

Buddy's averaging over 5 goals a game, not 2 or 3 and last night atleast 4 or 5 of them were from outside 50 aswell on an angle.

I am sorry but Buddy is good but he's not the greatest, he'd be one of the best forwards no doubt, but there are players like Judd, Kerr, and a few others that are better. Buddy if he keeps up the way he is and stops the off field stuff will be great.

I just hope for Freo's sake they do not do a trade deal that sees them dudded again and lose Palmer, though it seems you boys cannot win either way with some trades...which is sad.

I hope Collingwood do not take Melbourne lightly and let the Demons get a jump on them, we seem to have this thing where we play rubbish on Queens Birthday. Well lately anyways but I think we have enough to get over the line, sad to see Robbo go down, got a lot of respect for him.

Either Franklin or Ablett jnr are the best at the moment. You'd be an idiot to think otherwise.

I had forgot about Ablett...I also forgot about Scarlett and Bartel.

Franklin is good but he's not the greatest, not yet, it will be one day if he can keep it up, but he's not the greatest not yet...

Judd'll be at his best again next year, let's not forget he has come back from some groin problems, and he's at a new club, but what about Geelong, Ben? You said they were on the decline, yet they have beaten both North and Carlton after their Collingwood thrashing.

You do realise that his 15 goals ahead of the 2nd leading goalkicker in the competition? And that only 2 other players in the competition have kicked more goals then Franklin has behinds?

59 goals, 38 behinds.

Bradshaw's kicked 43 goals this season.
Fevola's kicked 42.

After that is Jonathan Brown with 36.
And Jarryd Roughead with 35.

His head & shoulders above every other forward in the competition!

While there are a bunch of midfielders who are reasonably close to each other and star midfielders are much more common then superstar forwards.
