Afl 2008

Dogs kicking some Feathery bottoms atm! hope Hawks don't come back, we're playing much better than the Hawks.

Brilliant win down at Aurora! Scotty Welsh kicked 4, which was good, we just murdered the Hawks.

Yes after a long time I have managed a time to watch Bulldogs.
I know Storm is a bit strong for Bulldogs though I am fancy for Bulldogs.
Go Boys.I’m tipping the Bulldogs to win by one point. :p

Vibhav.... how do you know stuff about AFL?

Just my interest. ;)

good to see the hawks knocked off by the doggies, shattering loss last nite from the bombers tho :(

LOL

Josh Kennedy & Jarryd Morton are ****.

Can't wait til Hodge, Guerra, Dew, Crawford & McGlynn come back in and give the rest of the AFL a true reality check.

Bulldogs got us on a lucky week. We had to lose sometime.

Gee, Adelaide's shocking kicking almost got us home.

Fremantle to beat Port, although really a draw wouldn't surprise me. :p

Wrong sport, thats rugby league (Melbourne Storm vs Canterbury Bulldogs)

The AFL team is called the Western Bulldogs who played Hawthorn.

No I am supporting Bulldogs in both sports despite the fact I know they are both different sports but I don't think we have another thread for Rugby League so I posted here.
Anyway Apologies if something was wrong.
:D

It's the beginning of the end for Geelong.

Hawthorn will soon surpass them.

The Cats lose one game, and it's the beginning of the end? Well by that logic it's the beginning of the year of the Hawks now too....The Cats have been ordinary all season and have still managed to win, until Collingwood took the game up to them, and managed to out play them. Carlton just didn't have any answers for Geelong and their backline made critical errors and it hurt them.

Much like it did early on for West Coast, they turned the ball over down back and Collingwood punished them. I am sure Geelong will still be a force come September as will the Hawks.

Loss to freo ... again lol. My footy team and i played half time at collingwood and eagles. I was lucky enough to kick a goal:D.. good game... CARN MEDDERS:p

I remember i did that when i was younger. I played on the MCG twice, both day and night. I still remember walking out the change rooms down the race, and then stepping on to the 'G' in front of a 80,000 people. Something ill never forget.

Completely unsurprising that Freo threw the game away once again.

I can't believe all the crap people talk when a team loses, like "oh noez itz da beginning of da end 4 gellonglolz," forgetting that Ottens is back, and should be back to his normal self in the next couple of weeks.

Some of my mates are now like, "Bulldogs 4 Premiers," just because they knocked off Hawthorn, who are on top of the ladder.

It's so retarded... Geelong are definite premiers in my opinion.

This Bulldogs side reminds me a lot of the West Coast side of 2005-07, relying pretty much on their uber-talented midfield and a couple of... average forwards. Considering West Coast were 2005 GF's and 2006 Premiers, it's obviously a "strategy" that can be pulled off, although their midfield isn't nearly as good as Geelong's, who also have talent all over the ground.

I cant help but think the current Hawthorn side is similar to the Geelong side of yesteryear. We had an absolute genius in Gary Ablett and another decent forward in Billy Brownless, an above average midfield and a below average backline. Didn't win the cats any premierships and I cant see a similar team doing it for Hawthorn tbh.
