I haven?t really seen him playing test cricket that much, but I think he's a good player and has potential to play test cricket as well as ODI.

He is good enough. He can bowl, he is one of the worlds best fielders but with his poor batting performances he really can't be kept.

One of the best oneday players in the world but just not up to test level.
Failed again with the bat and average at best with the ball, great fielding.

Yeah, he is getting old, and Hodge and Hussey are both younger, so, I agree with you there mate.

Actually Symonds, Hussey and Hodge are all 30 and heading towards 31. SO they aren't all particularly wrong and hussey should of been used instead symonds along time ago.

not for long i hope, Clarke back? don't make me laugh two high scores and his back? If he gets selected is shows how **** our selectors our, Hussey making triple hundred after triple hundred doesnt get any sort of chance and clarke makes to 70 scores after about 50 tries gets him back, Just shut up all you Clarke fans he is the biggest overrated player ive ever seen.

I personally like Symonds....he has been under-used when bowling.He has the ability to be a great bat,but i doubt he'll get enough chances though.

I think Symonds deserves a Test Century. Just becaus ehes such a classy one day player.
