Nah, Hell be back i think Hodge will get delt with severly if we lose the test match
So Hodge will get dropped after three Tests? He got one bad decision, and made a double Hundred......Your being optimistic if you ask me.

I'd keep Hodge in, a top class batsman.

Symonds was extremely unlucky today and Hussey was extremely lucky.

Hodge won't get dropped just yet. He still got a few more brownie points have that 200. Without it he would be on the chopping blocks.

I hope Hodge and Symonds gets dropped soon, as much as i then i don't want them to lose confidence in themselves, especially Symonds!

According to the statistics, Hodge should get 20 matches riding on the back of his two centuries.

The thing is can you really afford 4 playmakers in the top 7 with Gilly, Symonds, Hayden and Langer?

Hayden these days isn't a playmaker. Langer fills that roll now. Symonds definitely fits that bill while Gilly more times than not comes off. And with Hodge and Hussey in the side we have strokemakers to go with the playmakers

Yeah, look at today. Now,question for you......Do you think England can sustain current form (getting thumped by Pakistan) with so little depth (genuine talented depth! Not crappy County players  )

Being sarcy are we Sachin :D

The thing is even in the Ashes we were poor imo.

Bell was poor.
Giles was worse than usual.
Little runs from Geraint.
Hoggy only came to party last 2 tests.
Harmy did well at Lords and got crucial wicket of Clarke but not much else.
Vaughan, one good innings.

hardly good form.

We have had a decent 05 as we won the ashes and in RSA, but we didn't play to our best. We were at our best in 2004 imo.
