Just remember to still post useful stuff as you used to previously, my only concern about adding it was the forums turning into chat room type discussions because of the IM like environment.

If it has a big impact on the amount of spam it might need to go away again, but I'd like to be proven wrong and be able to keep it, as it is very useful. And strange as well, changing back to the tab and seeing 10 new posts.

Seems to be that when I'm browsing the forum in a different tab that it doesn't update. Not 100% though but there are times when it doesn't update.

It won't update if there is more than three minutes between the posts, as that's the (current) trigger point for the live thread system.

So you still need to refresh occasionally.

Since this is the suggestion/Improvement Thread, I have this.
Is it just me, or does anyone else believe that some Admin, tend to behave like they are the law and this place is their inheritance, that others may not, have views or objections or even ask a question, and if they do, once it's not to their taste they have this sort of commanding and offensive behavior, because they believe that you are dictating to them!!

The live threads thing is a real good idea, it makes things a lot easier.

The current layout of C07 Downloads forum is though well managed but it is looking too complicated and weird. The big tags just attacks on my eyes

One suggestion, Is it possible to enable new created thread moderation in Ashes Cricket forum? Since the forum is new and we will see some new (useless) threads, it will be great to have thread moderation for sometime in order to maintain the quality.

The live topic modification is really excellent !

Yeah tis was lush. Don't think it added any spam either, everyone was too indulged in posting and discussing the Ashes, and we all knew it was hard enough to keep up without spam anyway lol.
