Ashes 2009 not working on Windows 7

Hi

I installed Ashes 2009 on my system which has Windows 7 installed. Nothing happens when I click "Play Game". Can anyone help.

Right click and try running in XP compatible mode.

game hang in loading at codemaster screen display.....
only option i can is end task...........

Here are my system Specs...

Processor: Intel Core2 Duo 2.4 Ghz
RAM : 2 GB
Graphics Card : Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT
VRAM : 1 GB
OS : Windows 7

You need to patch the game so loading will not take much time.

hay......as per your instruction...i have just download beta patch from this site but when i try to install it......massage come.... PATCH NOT COMPATIBLE WITH INSTALLED VERSION.....!!!

Hmmm...seems to work fine for me. Are you on Windows x64? That could be the problem. Mine worked erratically before, but since the patch its been running really well.

If the size of the exe is around 28.9 mb then Probably it came as a gift from the torrentz family or mr rapidshare bought it for him??:rtfl
if not then the inventer of steam engine (james watt) is to blame?

^ If you don't tell us from where you got your copy of Ashes Cricket 09 then I'm afraid all we members here can do.....is speculate.

EDIT: I have a friend who also got Ashes recently and it runs fine on Win 7 I suppose. The last thing I heard from him was that he installed patches and it was working. Who knows....the OS can turn on you anytime.

It works like a gem. Pure class and absoutely smooth.
Install the beta patches provided by Transmission and not by the PC members in the Downloads Forum. It'll surely work for you.
