Well, Australia copying England's blueprint, I didn't think I'd see the day.

In the Alpha magazine a few months ago he had an inside story on his cricket career and I think he's only going to get better.

Everyone has their own opinions on who's better, but the important thing is that who will perform better on the occassion.Bell is in hot form but it would be interesting to see if he can repeat anything like that against a formidable Aussie bowling attack.Watson on the other hand is a genuine allrounder imo,but as he's been going through injuries lately, the tour will be sort of a comeback for him.My hunch is that both will have decent series but the likes of Panesar and Warne are going to make the biggest impressions for either side.

I'm not saying that Bell will take the world by storm in the Ashes, i'm just saying that he is a better batsman than Watson. From the games i've seen him play in, Watson has just looked average at best.

What about Bracken? Left arm, swings it a bit, I reckon he should take the third seamer position.

Definately a candidate for 3rd seamer.Genuinely swings the ball and adds variety to the attack.

&Evertonfan-I agree that Bell's a better batsman, but overall I think their contributions are pretty evenly matched as of now.

I like the idea of Watson in the side. Will he still be bowling that slow-medium pace stuff? If so, that could go a loooooooooooooooooong way.

Given what Pietersen did to the Sri Lankan medium pacers, and Abdul Razzaq; I feel that Watson could be in for some heavy treatment.

Australia are still going to hammer us though, Watson will just be a weak link.

I'd hate to face your idea of a quick bowler if he's bowling slow mediums

What games? I'd say that given the same opportunities at Test level Watson could've produced the results Bell has
