Does anyone know if it is possible to change the sound when the ball makes contact with the bat. If so how?

At present when the bat strikes the ball, the sound made is like hitting a dead-piece of wood. In real life cricket the sound made is louder than this.

Also is it possible to remove helmets from batsmen's heads? I ask because I am aiming to create the playing conditions of the pre-helmet era (pre-1980's) when there was no advertisement on the pitch and no sponsors logos on the bats and players clothing. My overall aim is to create matches from the past with yesteryear's teams in authentic playing environments from the time.

Download the sound file importer by Prakash and replace the default sounds with your sounds. The following are the list of files and its numbers as represented in sound file importer.

3311 - 3328 --> Bat sounds
3329 - 3330 --> Crowd sound
3331 - 3356 --> Bat hit sounds
3357 - 3364 --> No run calls
3365 - --> No ball call
3366 - 3372 --> Pad, helmet hit sounds
3373 - 3379 --> bowler thuds sounds
3380 - 3383 --> ball hitting the wicket sound
3384 - 3389 --> "waiting" "No" calls
3390 - 3404 --> "Yes" calls

I am not sure about the helmets though, someone knowledgable might reply.

You just go back to the old days when the Cricket 2000 bat-hitting-ball sounds sounded like the bat was hollow.
