"Yes, but you know how american schools are really Indian. They will suspend you even if you didnt fight. If some kid punches you and you punch him back you both are getting suspended for a few days. America has the most Indian rules on fights, they don't even let you fight back!"
This would quite rightly be considered as bigotry. It's the same thing.
As I am not gay, I have no reason to say that it is good. But it certainly isn't bad. Surely that is obvious? Surely this is the same as associating a particular skin colour with "bad"?Shailesh said:you haven't answered my question. I simply asked if you think there is anything good about it?
Unnatural? Homosexuality is exhibited throughout the animal kingdom, including in our fellow primates. The comparison with race/skin colour does make sense, as homosexuality is not a choice, it is simply the way someone is born. All recent psychological research has shown that ones sexual orientation is in almost all cases not voluntary, ie. we have no choice over our sexual orientation. Homosexuals are a minority, yes, but then so are left handed people. To be frank, attitudes like yours belong in the 19th Century.Shailesh said:well it is clearly unnatural. if it not natural I don't see why it may be good. and your comparison of a form of behavior with race/skin color just doesn't make sense.

What the hell are you on about? Of course there is nothing wrong with "justifying" sexual orentation to children, because there is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay! Of course if someone is pressuring a child to be gay, then that is wrong. The fact of the matter is that the vast majority of child abusers are completly heterosexual.Shailesh said:what if someone starts justifying orientation towards children? sure some psychological research will back that too. and then may be that too will be acceptable for people like you.
omg I aint the only one you know. 90% of people who grew up in America will call something bad gay...just calm down man. I wasn't grown up in England you know, I was grown up here and over here if something is bad we most likely call it gayandrew_nixon said:I'm simply saying that cheaterr is associating gay with bad. It is a slippery slope once you start saying that people can say what they like because of freedom of speech. Stirring up hatred for religious, racial or sexual reasons is completely unacceptable and is in fact a crime in most civilised countries. Not that I am accusing Shailesh of doing that but I would certainly agree that his attitude would be offensive to homosexuals and heterosexuals alike.
