MARSHALL AND TABB MAKE TEAM OF THE WEEK

2 Coventry players have made team of the Week following their performances against Norwich. Coventry 'Keeper Marchall was teh first on the sheet for a series of fantastic saves in teh 2-0 home victory, making it 3 straight wins in the league, the other player was Jay Tabb who ran the midfield for the whole game and never tired. Coventry assistant manager Alan Shearer reported back and said he was delighted that the hard work had paid off, as the two players had worked the hardest in training all week.

MIFSUD CALLED UP

Coventry's in form striker Michael Mifsud has again been named in the Malta squad to face Turkey in the international break. Malta looking to get a win on teh board, being overwhelming underdogs in their group. Coventry manager Craig Tough has revealed he will be sending someone on his staff to watch the game.

COVENTRY CELEBRATE TOUGH'S BIRTHDAY

Coventry manager Craig tough celebrated his Birthday yesterday (4/9) by holding a huge party in his Coventry home. Tough invited all of the players and staff along with their families. He said it was the best birthday he had ever had and felt this was the point when he and the team had clicked and he said it was 'the start of a long career together' for Coventry and Tough himself, as chairman Ray Ranson, also present at the party, stated that Tough had his long term support.

TRIO BACK IN TRAINING

Coventry trio Kevin Thornton (foot), Donovan Simmonds (foot) and Julian Gray (jaw) have returned to full training and have been declared fit for Coventry's game against Sheffield Wednesday after the international break. Coventry manager Tough said he was overjoyed to finally have the players back, however, it does leave him with a large selection headache, but did say that it wasn't the worst problem to have.

BEST AND THORNTON CALLED UP

Coventry duo Kevin Thornton and Leon Best have both been called up to the Ireland U21 side to face France during the International break. Thornton, just back from injury makes his first outing in 2 months after suffering ankle ligament damage. And Leon Best in good form, off teh back of a goal against Norwich for Coventry in a 2-0 win. Ireland face their U21 counterparts France in what is set to be a very hard game for Ireland. Craig Tough revealed he will be present in the game, and snubs an invite to the England v Israel game as he wanted to watch some of his own players in international action, but did say he would go back to England to watch England against Russia in teh mid week fixture.

MIFSUD, BEST AND THORNTON ALL SUFFER INTENATIONAL DEFEAT

Coventry trio Michael Mifsud (Malta), Kevin Thornton (Irelnad U21) and Leon Best (Ireland U 21) all suffered defeat in yesterday's international fixtures. Mifsud's Malta lost 2-0 at the hands of Turkey in a Euro Qualifier whilst Ireland's U21 side containing Thornton and Best were thumped 7-0 by a very strong French side. Tough was present at the game and said the game was a great game for neutrals, however his Coventry players played the full 90 and were very disappointed to get thrashed. Tough said he was delighted to see his players gain some much needed international experience, and that he was happy that they both came through unscathed. Tough said he couldn't wait for his game against Sheffield Wednesday. England's seniors beat Israel by 4 goals to 1.

ENGLAND BEAT RUSSIA 3-1

After beating Israel 4-1 at the weekend, England made it 100% in the international break by seeing off tricky Russia side 3-1. The goals came from David Beckham and Wayne Rooney (2). Gabriel Agbonlahor made his senior debut for England. Coventry manager Craig tough was present at the game and said he was in awe of the style of football England were playing under Fabio Capello.

KYLE FACES FORMER CLUB

Former Coventry striker Kevin Kyle will face his former club and manager today as Coventry play Sheffield Wednesday in what promises to be a great game for spectators. Kyle found himself moving from the squad just a week after manager Tough arrived after being told he wasn't in the club's fans. Kevin Kyle said he was delighted at the attitude of the manager Tough and revealed that the two had been in contact ever since, and said there was no hard feelings between the two, and Kyle said 'it happens in football'. Tough has publically praised Kyle's attitude since the move and has said he deserves first team football, and Kyle said he relishes the opportunity of getting his career back on track after 2 disastrous spells at Coventry and Sunderland.

Coventry v Sheffield Wednesda coming up int the next gour or so!

Right, so today we faced Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsbrough. We were going to try and make it 4 league wins in a row, and we were confident of doing so as we were placed 3rd in the league at the moment compared to Wednesday, who were 14tg after a 0-0 draw with Ipswich in their last outing. I thought with a few players back from injury, we could win this game comfortably. Also I was facing Kevin Kyle, who I still keep in touch with and hope for my defence to give him a torrid time ;).

Injuries now. and we welcomed back Gray, Thornton and Simmonds all back from injury and Thornton and Simmonds hadn't featured under me so far, and I was delighted to write their names on teh team sheet. Adebola still out.

Now to the team news. I was going to keep the 4-4-2 formation as I felt it worked for us best. Thornton, Simmonds and Gray came into teh side, which meant dropping Isaac Osbourne to teh bench, to start Thornton is the centre of midfield. Ben Turner keeps his place and keeps de Zeeuw out of the side. Up front, Leon Best comes into the starting llineup in place of Kevin Phillips who also drops on the bench. Gray and Simmonds force Stephen Hughes and Ellery Cairo out of the 16.

Here was the starting XI:

--------------------------Marshall
D.Simpson---Turner---Ward---Borrowdale
Tabb------M.Doyle(c)---Thornton---Pattison
--------------------Mifsud-------Best

Subs (5): Phillips, de Zeeuw, Simmonds, McKenzie, Gray.

So me and the lads arrived at Hillsbrough, enjoying the Yorkshire views along the way, but not forgetting the job in hand, and again, a great Sky Blue turnout. 8000 Coventry fans made the journey up north, and we arrived at the dressing rooms being clapped on by the supporters we saw on our way in. We were confident that 3 points was ours. I gave the boys the usual pre match chat, and we were on our way. I hoped for another good game and good passing.

A great start...For Wednesday, a free kick from Glenn Whelan coming off the post, and in form Andy Marshall superbly saving the rebound. On 7 mins, a Jay Tabb throw to Doyle, a great turn and shot to match, inches over the bar. I applauded the great football from both teams. On 10 mins, Sheffield Wednesday grabbed the opening goal. A Glenn Whelan free kick wasn't cleared properly and the loose ball fell to francis Jeffers who scored. 1-0. Sloppy goal. A minute later and a great reply, Jay Tabb putting Leon Best through who's shot was saved. On 21 mins, leon best was brought down in the area, and he got up to take the spot kick. He missed it, but the rebound created a scramble inside the area, and ended up with Wednesday defender Peter Gilbert putting into his own net. I applauded the work from Best to win the penalty, and shouted at the players to push on from here. On 27 mins, Thornton put his International team mate Best through, but his shot went wide. 28 mins and what a goal. Jay Tabb running 20 yards and put Mifsud through who shot right into the opposite corner. Fantsastic goal and another goal for Mifsud. 2-1. The Coventry crowd were in raptures. On 30 mins, Etienne Esajas went close for Wednesday with another free kick from just outside the area. A great game so far. On 39 mins, Tabb took a free kick from the left, it was headed out to young centre half Ben Turner, who unleashed a superb left footed vollwy, which went inches away to deny him from his first Coventry goal. On 40 mins, Tabb was at the centre of an opportunity again, his pass to Doyle, Doyle's shot was well saved, tipped out for a corner. Tabb took it, and an unfortunate touch from Wood, sent the ball into his own net. 3-1, 2 own goals from Wednesday. Thats luck for you. A minute later Best put Mifsud through who passed to thronton who shot from 25 yards, and his shot looked destined for the top corner, but it came off the bar and looped out for a goal kick. Great effort. On 45 mins, an Esajas free kick came out to Woods looking to make amends for his own goal, but his shot was fantastically saved by Marshall, and that was the end of a fantastically entertaining half. Well worth the gate.
And whats more, we were 3-1 up! At half time I made one change. I brought Julian Gray on for Matty Pattison in a straight swap on the left. And the second half got underway.
The first chance of the half came at 51 mins, a shot from Sky Blue old boy Kevin Kyle went a yard wide. On 58 mins, a fantastic Jay Tabb shot was clawed out by the Wednesday keeper, the rebound falling to Leon Best who shot just wide. Tabb playing a blinder. 30 seconds later, Micky Doyle had a shot from 25 yards, his effort tipped over for another Coventry corner. The corner was taken by Tabb, and was headed out by goalscorer Francis Jeffers. On 68 mins, a long Ben Turner ball was headed down to Best by Gray, Best's shot going wide. It wasn't Best's day, so I brought him off for Donovan Simmonds, who made hsi first appearance for me. On 77 mins, I saw in the corner of my eye, some Wednesday supporters leaving already! I was flabbergasted, as there was plenty of time for Wednesday to get level. This caused me to shout at the players to keep focused. On 81 m ins, I made my final subsitution, Isaac Osbourne on for Doyle, who had worked his hardest all game and ws tiring. On 84 mins, long Marshall pass, nodded down by Simmonds to a sprinting in Danny Simpson, who norrowly missed out on his first Coventry goal. Well worked. On 87 mins, a route one goal from Wednesday got them back in teh game, a free kcik headed down by Kyle to Folly who put Jeffers through to grab his second. Were thos Wednesday supporters right to leave? And that was Jeffer's 5th of the season. 4 minutes of injury time was called for us to hold out. Don't know where all that came from. On 91 mins, Kevin Kyle had the chance, but Marshall made another great save and kept us norrowly in front. A minute later and an outstanding Danny Simpson cross fell to Mifsud, who missed a sitter to close the game out. Unlucky, but most unlike Mifsud. With 1 minute left on the clock we had another chance, an Isaac Osbourne free kcik knocked down to Tabb, who shot just wide. And that was it! A great win, I was disappointed at the 2 goals we conceded, but that was clutching a straws. It was a great performance, especially from Jay Tabb, he was here, there and everywhere in this match. We were helped by 2 own goals but we deserved the win in the end. That was 4 on the bounce and I was mostly relieved. And after the game, I was delighted to hear we were now 2nd in the league and 3 points behind leaders Sheffield United.

Man of the Match was Francis Jeffers. I don't agree with the player ratings today, as Leon Best wasn't and 8 and although Jeffers got 2 goals, Tabb would definately have been my MotM, and also, Gray and Osbourne were great when they came on, so 6 is ridiculous. The computer just doing it on how many goals the players score I think. So don't take notice of that ;)

Well toughed out 2 wins there, especially the alst one. Lucky with 2 OG's! Keep this up mate. You may not be getting many replies but that's a given in the other stories forum. Just stick at it. Some quality work here mate :)

I'll be honest, I am not too bothered about replies, obviously I like it when someone replies but its views that are most important for me :) It means that loads of people have bothered to look! Yeah, I was a tad lucky today, but you need a bit of luck sometimes. Great win! I'm well chuffed and also I am pleased that Thornton is back as he will be a main feature of the squad in a few years. And yes, I plan to carry on my story for at least 5 seasons! But I really want story of teh month so please vote!!! :D :D :D

I thought ypu'd like it ;)
Anyway, next update is tonight at about 6 to 8 o clock. Keep the votes coming in :p

Today we were back on home soil, in my second local derby. Last one was a friendly against Nuneaton and we won that comfortably. Today came Wolves. Wolves had a very good side and I just couldn't put a prediction on it. On Bet365, we were the favourites with odds of 6-4. I was happy we had 4 league wins on the bounce, and I hoped we could kick on. Wolves were currently 1 place behind us (3rd) with a similar record. A loss and 4 wins, and we hoped we could add another loss to their guide.

Injuries now. The only casualty being Dele Adebola, but we had plenty of striker cover so we were still confident of a result. Adebola expected to be out for just a few days. He is in light training after suffering fractured ribs, but is no where near match fit.

Now to the team news. I decided to go unchanged from the side that beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-2 away. the first time I have been unchanged as Coventry manager.
Here was the starting XI:

--------------------------Marshall
D.Simpson---Turner---Ward---Borrowdale
Tabb------M.Doyle(c)---Thornton---Pattison
--------------------Mifsud-------Best

Subs (5): Phillips, de Zeeuw, Simmonds, Osbourne, Gray.

So again, I arrived at the magnifiscent Ricoh Arena, confident of another 3 points. Same old route to the dressing room again, to see the kits laid out by Tony Jones perfectly. Had a cup of Yorkshire tea with a couple of digestive biscuits whilst I made my notes on what i wanted to do. The players arrived together, I went through my notes and off we went for the pre match warm up. I couldn't wait to get the game underway. Wolves surprisingly rested midfielder Andy keogh after he said he was tired after a few matches in a few days, and e was probably Wolve's main threat, so I was happy to see that news come up.

FORM GUIDE:
Coventry: L W W W W
Wolves: W W W L W

4 mins, a crap start. Poor marking, Ben Turner headed the ball out, the clearance falling to Wolves top scorer Freddy Eastwood, no one closed him down and he finished with ease. I shouted at the players to get their buttocks in gear. 1-0. On 10 mins, it should have been 2. Awful marking and Olofinjana got a free header from 3 yards out, a superb reaction save prevented the goal. I was fuming. On 12 mins, gary Borrowdale was through, only to waste the chance by fluffing the shot. Shocking. On 22 mins, it was 2-0. Crap clearances all over. We had about 6 opportunities to clear, Gleeson picked the ball up and scored his first goal fro Wolves. I was sent to the stands for a series of unnaceptable words. Half an hour and 3-0. Olofinjana. Can't be bothered to type. I made a sub. Turner off for de Zeeuw. Crap performance from Turner. On 45 mins, we managed to get a goal back. Tabb to Mifsud, and Mifsud slotted home. But it just seemed to be too little too late. A crap half to be perfectly honest. By far the worst under me. I had to change things. I brought Gray on for Pattison and Phillips on for Thornton.
On 55 mins, Mifsud had a chance to get another goal back, but fulffed his shot and we had to start again. 77 mins, and Coventry supporters leaving already. I couldn't blame them. Crap show. That was it. A boring game, a crap performance. What a load of rubbish. ln the game Michael Mifsud's goal was his 125th career goal.

Today after a shocking performance 3 days ago against Wolves, we were going to try and forget that and concentrate on today's game against Preston at Deepdale. Although we had a defeat, we were still having a decent season, 4th in the league and looking pretty good. So I hoped for a win.

Injuries now. Adebola still out (ribs). I was hoping that the big man would be back soon to start banging in the goals for us. And that was the only injury on the list.

Now to the team news. I decided to go with a complete reshuffle after an abysmal performance against Wolves a few days ago. Osbourne in for Thornton, De Zeeuw in for Turner, Gray in for Pattison and Phillips in for Best. All straight swaps.
Here was the starting XI:

--------------------------Marshall
D.Simpson---de Zeeuw---Ward---Borrowdale
Tabb------M.Doyle(c)---Osbourne---Gray
--------------------Mifsud-------Phillips

Subs (5): Best, Turner, Simmonds, Thornton, Pattison.

So me and the lads arrived at Deepdale knowing that there were weights on our shoulders after the game against Wolves, and Preston were flying high in 3rd place, so we were going to need to be at the top of our game if we were going to come out on top against the home side, Preston. We got out of the coach and then walked to the dressing room. The lads were silent. they knew that I expected them to play much better. I told them to not be so worried, as whatever happens, we would bounce back. Just like we were going to in this match. The lads really wanted to win as well. They were getting revved up for a tight contest. And out we went.

FORM GUIDE:
Coventry: L W W W W L
Preston: D W L W W W

Another poor start. preston getting a disallowed goal, and I shouted at the players to get focused sharpish! The players set "yes boss!" and I expected them to perform now. On 14 mins, we started to press, Julian Gray crossing for Jay Tabb to meet the ball with a half volley. Neatly tipped over for a corner. On 18 mins, Osbourne put Mifsud through, but his shot was simply awful. Still 0-0.On 33 mins, Jay Tabb won a free kcik bang in the centre of the goal, just outside the area. Isaac Osbourne stepped up, and unleashed a fantastic right footed shot, straight into the top corner. Unstoppable. Thats better. 1-0. On 33 mins, Preston made a strange sub, striker Andy Carroll coming off for defender Sean St Ledger. On 40 mins, Preston midfielder Billy Jones had a shot which was superbly tipped wide by Andy Marshall. A minute later, and it should have been all square, former Liverpool player Neil Mellor's 6 yard header superbly saved by Andy Marshall. And that was the end of a relatively solid half. We had the edge, and I made 1 change. Simmonds on for Phillips up top. On 56 mins, we had a chance for 2, Simmonds pouncing on a loose ball, only for his 1 on 1 shot to be saved. On 61 mins, I brought Kevin Thornton on for Michael Doyle.
On 65 mins, Isaac Osbounre put Mifsud clean through, he did the keeper with a double stepover, and finished fantastically. What a finish! 2-0! On 68 mins, we were on a roll, Simmonds played a fantastic through ball to Julian Gray, who put in an even better first time cross, which Mifsud finished off outstandingly to grab his 10th goal of the season. Superb! 2-0. On 74 mins, the home side got one back, Danny pugh making a 12 yard run and firing home to make it 3-1. After that, I brought Matty Pattison on for Julian Gray. On 83 mins, the defence fell apart yet again, hawley making it 3-2 with a nervous 5 mins left. 3-2. Preston had a couple of chances to equalise, but the defence to my delight managed to hold out.. Great win! We were back! Mifsud having an outstanding season with 10 goals in 9 games.

ADEBOLA BACK IN TRAINING

Coventry manager Craig Tough was delighted today to reveal that big man Adebola is back in training, and will be available for their next game. Coventry are now the only team in the league without any injuries. Tough said "Dele (Adebola) will give us a huge boost up front, and will be the perfect partner for hot-shot Michael Mifsud." Adebola has missed a few games after having broken ribs.

GRAY MAKES TEAM OF THE WEEK

Coventry winger Julian Gray has made teh Championship's team of the week after an outstanding performance in Coventry's 3-2 win over Preston. Gray, disappointed that he got injured, and has been slightly out of favour since the arrival of Matty Pattison on loan from Newcastle in the summer, but has put a shift in. Craig Tough the manager said he is delighted that Gray is fighting for his place, and that he has a serious case to start against ipswich next week.

OSBOURNE OUT OF IPSWICH GAME

Coventry midfielder Isaac Osbourne may well be out of the game against Ipswich on Saturday, as he has picked up a virus, which could see him out for 3 days. Tough the manager said he was disappointed as he played a blinder against Preston, but Tough said he did feel that it meant a chance for another player to break into the starting XI.

BIRCHALL BREAKS LEG

Coventry midfielder Chris Birchall has broken his leg. The Trinidad and Tobago nglish born player, currently on loan at Scottish side St Mirren said he was very disappointed as he felt he was playing very well in Scotland. Birchall got teh Scottish goal of the month in August and has featured in every game this season. He will be out for at least 6 months, reports say.

29/9/07

Right, so today we play Ipswich at home. We were firm favourites to win this match, but it definately wasn't going to be as one sided as the bookies made out. Ipswich were currently 14th in the Championship, whilst we were 3rd on 15 points, 7 games into the season. Their last outing was a 3-2 defeat at home to Burnley, and they were without a league win in 4, so I was quietly confident of a victory, but Coventry have a dangerous habit of breaking other team's ducks, so it was set to be a nervous 90.

Injuries now. Adebola back fit, and just as I thought I was going to have a full squad to choose from, Isaac Osbourne came down with a virus, and hadn't recovered in time, so he didn't play. Also, our midfielder Chris Birchall currently on loan at Scottish side St Mirren, has unfortunately broken his leg and will be out for several months. A huge blow for him as he has been doing very well for St Mirren, including getting goal of the month in August.

Now to the team news. After being boosted by the return of Dele Adebola, I felt he deserved a place in the side, however, he wasn't quite match fit so he replaced Donavon Simmonds on the bench. Isaac Osbourne's illness meant he missed out today after a great game against Preston, Kevin Thornton coming in for him. I felt that Kevin (Thornton) would do just as good a job today. Julian Gray kept his place after a fantastic performance against Preston, and Kevin Phillips dropped to teh bench whilst Leon best starts up front with Michael Mifsud. Also, as Simmonds dropeed out the side, and Osbourne had an illness, I brought Stephen Hughes back into the side onto teh bench.

Here was the starting XI:

--------------------------Marshall
D.Simpson---de Zeeuw---Ward---Borrowdale
Tabb------M.Doyle(c)---Thornton---Gray
--------------------Mifsud-------Best

Subs (5): Phillips, Turner, S.Hughes, Adebola, Pattison.

I arrived at the Ricoh again, and this time I was a bit early and caught Tony laying out the kits. I was speaking to Tony and he is a loyal Coventry supporter and that he thought I was doing a fantastic job. This gave me a huge boost as it felt like the 30000 Coventry fans thought the same. I really wanted to get another win on the board for the fans. The players arrived and I went through the usual ritual. The pre match talk, and before the game, I had organised to put a big picture of the 1987 side that won Coventry their first and only FA Cup on the ceiling on teh tunnel, in which they touched as they went out to do the busines.. they did so and the warm up started and soon the match was underway.

6 GAME FORM GUIDE:
Coventry: W W W W L W
Ipswich: W W D L L L

A decent start, well, much better than the previous two anyway, a long ball from keeper Andy Marshall, nodded on by Michael Doyle, Thornton had the chance but his shot went wide but the flag was up in any case. On 5 mins, Ipswich striker Marcus Tudgay had a shot, and Andy Marshall made another great save at the expence of a corner. Another long ball on 7 mins causing Ipswich all sorts of problems, dropping to Leon Best who passed to Thornton who slotted through to Tabb who was offside. On 40 mins, Doyle had a shot from 25 yards, but it was comfortably gathered by the keeper. Half time, and it was a half of many missed chances, the players wasting great opportunities which they may later regret. At half time I brought Adebola on for Best.
On 47 mins, Ipswich's winger Chris Eagles crossed in to danger man Pablo Counago, but his header was well saved by Andy Marshall. On 56 min, Kevin Thornton wasted another glorious opportunity. he had to go off, he was being so wasteful. I brought Matty Pattison on for him. Then I made my final sub, Doyle of for Stephen Hughes. On 71 mins, yet another wasted opportunity. Danny Simpson hitting one from the edge of the area. About a mile wide. And that was the last noteable action. What a broing game, and my first draw in charge. Poor game but a draw wasn't bad I suppose, but all of the wasted chances we had was absolutely ridiculous. But thats football. In the game, Julian Gray made his 200th career league appearance.

Well a mixed bag of results there. Wolves I would have expected to win so not a bad loss. I would expect you to beat Preston and you did so that's a good result, although tighter than maybe it should've been. A good result vs Ipswich although maybe at home you could've done with winning that one.

But a good run of results from the last lot with mainly wins. Doing a good job so far!

Next match coming up in the next hour or two!
A few tough games coming up.

Giggity, I show you the table on the Monthly overview :) I'm 4th

SEPTEMBER 2007 OVERVIEW: COVENTRY CITY

Well, a good month in my opinion, with 3 wins, 1 draw and just 1 defeat. We were standing 4 th in the league, 4 points behind leaders Sheffield United, who were having a great season so far. Preston had the best month, with their manager Paul Simpson scooping Manager of the month and their on loan striker Andy Carroll picking up young player of the month, and also we had managed to beat them at Deepdale for the first time in Coventry's history, so I was a proud man after my Birthday month, September.

Coventry 2 - 0 Norwich
A great start to the month. We beat a good Norwich side, and comfortably too, Jay Tabb with the first and Leon Best with the second on 90 minutes. Our defence held out well, and I felt we were starting to get it right.

Sheffield Wednesday 2 - 3 Coventry
We got another win, but I have to say we were a tad lucky to grab all 3 points. Michael Mifsud on prime for grabbing 1 for us, the other 2 goals were own goals from Wednesday defenders Paul Gilbert and Chris Woods, and Francis Jeffers was on great form for Wednesday, with both of the Wednesday goals, but we came out on top in he end.

Coventry 1 - 3 Wolverhampton Wanderers
Very poor performance. By far the worst of the month. We were 3-0 down at half time thanks to some comical defending. Freddy eastwood, Stephen Gleeson and Seyi Olofinjana with the goals for Wolves. We performed much better in the second half, with another goal from Michael mifsud. unfortunately it was only conselation. To make matters worse, it was a derby in front of the home supporters so it was teh worst fixture of the month to play poorly in.

Preston 2 - 3 Coventry

Definately the best performance of the month. We won at Deepdale for the first time in Coventry's history, and Preston were in great form too. We were a goal to the good at half time, thanks to a superb Isaac Osbourne free kick. And then in the second half Mifsud again popped up with 2 goals in 3 minutes to put us 3-0 up. Preston ran us ragged for the last 10 mins, and 2 goals in the last 10 mins made us very edgy towards teh end, but we held out well.

Coventry 0 - 0 Ipswich
Not a bad performance to end the month. My first draw as a manager, and it was against a good side. We were a bit disappointed because of teh wasted opportunities, but nevertheless, I would have taken a point before the game so we weren't disheartened at all. And that was the end of a very successful month and I hope the fans are happy!

League table:

well a bad month but still in a play off place

Overall a good month really, with just the 1 loss. I reckon your side is good enough to hold on for that 4th spot and make the playoffs. We will have to see how it spreads out as we get further into the season.
