1st Semi-Final: Australia v South Africa at Centurion
The hosts went in as underdogs against an Australian team on a roll. Another shuffle in the batting order and another slow fifty for Shane Watson. They kept wickets in hand though and managed to scrape their way to 234. It didn't look to be enough but Australia bowled themselves into the game until a run a ball half century to JP Duminy crushed Australia's hopes and knocked them out of the tournament.

2nd Semi-Final: Sri Lanka v Pakistan at Johannesburg
Sri Lanka were coming off a long break and looked to be rusty when they were sent in to bat. Only managing to score 214 on a flat deck, being beaten by pace. With arguably the best bowling attack in the competition though, no one was going to write them off. With a few scares along the way they managed to reach the total fairly easily with 3 wickets and 68 balls to spare, setting up an unpredicted final with South Africa.
