change playing speed

Is there a way of increasing the speed (I mean gameplay speed, runup,etc.)? Somehow the ball seems to be floating as if it was on the moon! And seconly it takes damn long to play a full 50 overs innings, whereas on BLIC 2005 it takes much shorter (I believe).
If you have a similar experience and or know how to solve it, please let me know.

I am playing on a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo notebook with a Nvidia Geforce Go 6600 graphics card and Intel Inside Centrina Processor.
