Codemasters Confirm Patch

I had a game on it earlier where New Zealand needed 1 off the last ball with 1 wicket in hand so you can get some good games out of it...just a shame it was a 6 over blast though.

It does need patching though. They got the keeper actions for taking the bails off fine back in 99....now why are they so crap?

What a pessimistic statement! Why would they say that if they genuinely were not looking at making changes to gameplay? Why knock the patch before it has even come out? Sheesh, some guys! :

if they do patch the AI they'll have to do some work coz the AI doesnt seem to evaluate the situation of the match i think it behaves the same way regardless of the situation.

well i had the game for a day, took it back i hated it mainly because of the AI.

if this patch comes through and people on this forum seam to be happy i may buy it again, but thats a big maybe though.

i am not setting my hope high as if i dont get this i am not too worried.

i got S.T.A.L.K.E.R when i took this game back, and that game rocks.

Another thing is that the crowd hardly cheers for gods sake! Why have they been put in the stadium if they aren't going to shout?! I took a wicket *nothing*, later i took a catch.. crowd *nothing*, commentator *nothing*. Whenever i hit a boundary like 1:4 the crowd cheers.

The audio isn't flowing with the game spirit at all IMO.

I agree. The crowd sound is crap, hopefully, if the modders can get into the sound files, then they can do something about it. I mean, seriously, how hard is it to sample some real bloody crowd chants, instead of some prat going 'yahoooo!!' after every play and miss!! Where the hell do games developers get their sounds from??

Search the forums for catalyst downloads because X1300 pro is a good card.

Actually, it's an average card really.

I don't think you could expect to run BLIC 07 at max settings with that card.

They didn't. Everytime I emailed them they hinted about a patch, but nothing really happened .

This is indeed good news and shows while Codemasters might not be perfect they do at least try (and in reality this is all you can ask of anyone).

Shame on everyone who ranted and raved about Codemasters taking peoples money and running.

Well i am one of those and i sincerely apologize , but i am glad they proved me wrong .
