It's a no-brainer. Spamming 1 thread will cut down on it in the rest of the forum. There would be much more worthy discussion (take that lightly) as there will ever be in these stupid "Rate the person above your post's avatar/signature/name/bumhair" threads. What's the NET&G forum for?

Those threads are for games and not meant for spam even though people wrongly think they sometimes can spam in them.

Spamming in a forum as big as Planetcricket is wrong. The mods realized that and that's why it is closed.

I really don't understand why you can't use the Flashchat if you want to talk to each other off topic, since that's what it's for.

To be honest, I think the mods (at least some of them) need to lighten up a bit. We come on this site for a bit of fun and the mods seem to just be total control freaks and enjoy the power too much. So what if some people a Superthread? Its not hurting anyone is it? Just stop being so uptight and let people do what they want to do.

Well, the thread's were closed due to obscenity rather than spamming I guess.

Plus the content that was talked around there is even against the rules of the site, which can't be even allowed in the superthread!

Even though I don't fully support the re-opening of the superthread, I think you should come out of the supposed "golden era". It might have existed but when its not going to come again there's no point moaning about it again and again. No offense again.

Well, out of the 63 threads you've started, 37 of them have had nothing to do with either Cricket or cricket gaming (discounting Threads in Feedback/Suggestions)

You didn't seem to have a problem with it then.

Half the reason was most of those spammy posts were deleted. Kev and stevie did a great job with that.
