34.5 4 Pickford to Kekeletso
I could watch that shot all day. Timed to perfection.
And that's his fifty! Well played.

Beautiful. It may be off 104 balls, but on a green top against the bowling attack of Briggs its no mean feat.

Not even duff could do that

46.3 W Ali to Kekeletso
Short pitched delivery, Kekeletso attempts to pull, thick top edge sends the ball straight up. Ainsworth stands under it and takes a comfortable catch.

Cracking partnership. 109 off 20 overs. good knock by Kekeletso too, personal best 83.

End of Over 50: 229-6, runrate=4.58
Storer 10-0-48-1
Bishop* 11 (9 balls)
Ireland 2 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Long b. Ali 0 (FOW: 224/6)

Better than expected (Briggs must have put on a weaker bowling lineup) but still not very likely to win from here.

My match went quite well, I started off strongly both in my bowling innings and batting innings, unfortunately right at the end of the runchase I had the mother of all collapses.

Bishop 8-0-44-0
Sohail* 85 (109 balls)
Ainsworth 112 (103 balls)

Damn. The openers are putting together another fine display, albeit not as fast as they can but still enough.

18.3 6 Cunningham to Hodge
Hodge has just clobbered it! six runs all the way!

End of Over 19: 126-2, runrate=6.63
Cunningham 3-0-14-0
Hodge* 66 (58 balls)
Butcher 2 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Bunn Run Out 33 (FOW: 113/2)
Going brilliantly so far against Sid. No Crouch, Rudi or Tuckett playing, so my bowling is fairly weak. But seems like my backup batters are standing up to the job. Both wickets to fall were runouts...

End of Over 40: 233-3, runrate=5.83
Mohammed 10-2-44-0
Butcher* 53 (57 balls)
Whing 36 (49 balls)

Last Wicket: Hodge b. Harte 80 (FOW: 164/3)
Hodge and Butcher were both fantastic, and Whing has started to pick up the tempo. Should be aiming for 320 here going into the last 10...

43.3 6 Harte to Butcher
Butcher comes down the track to a full ball outside off stump, sends it a country mile over long on, an almighty hit of biblical proportions. Time for a replacement ball it seems. That one's long gone!
Whing's out. But the last 22 balls have yielded 39 runs nevertheless :D
I love the slog :D

End of Over 50: 326-4, runrate=6.52
Tomlinson 10-0-72-0
Butcher* 100 (88 balls)
Shipp 25 (20 balls)

Last Wicket: Whing c. Duncum b. Carter-harris 52 (FOW: 259/4)
Just as I predicted. Butcher's century came off the final ball of the match, fine knock.
Last 10 overs: 10-0-92-1

End of Over 7: 30-1, runrate=4.29, reqrunrate=6.91 (326-4)
Folkes 4-0-17-1
Ali* 15 (20 balls)
Fenton 2 (10 balls)

Last Wicket: Wijesuriya lbw b. Folkes 11 (FOW: 21/1)
Nice and tight start.

Oh, not great:
Rich Butcher - 22 yo, BT Rating=4,151
LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, strong batting form, proficient bowling form, changeable
A destructive player with woeful leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: competent Concentration: feeble
Bowling: woeful Consistency: feeble
Fielding: woeful
I've even bowled him against crap teams once in a while. So far, his bowling stats are an economy of around 5.3 and strike-rate of a wicket per 10 overs...

End of Over 16: 67-2, runrate=4.19, reqrunrate=7.65 (326-4)
Shipp 3-0-12-0
Duncum* 18 (26 balls)
Fenton 17 (33 balls)

Last Wicket: Ali b. Whing 18 (FOW: 34/2)
Leaving now, should be safe from here.

I bought Sohail 15 minutes before the submission time for orders this morning and gave him a go opening, 100 on debut for a 17 year old is very nice and he is sure to be U19 material come the end of the season.

What are his stats then?

Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless

Stamina needs some work, might touch on fielding too, but for now his batting will be the main priority as the teams has been suffering a bit this season.

Because I count on my bowling attack. Really when I saw my batting lineup destroyed for under 200 runs, I was still relaxed and knew that my two youngsters are enough to defend that total.
But still, I am surprised that your bowling was quite horrible for my batsmen as in the previous round I defeated you easily by over 150 runs.

anyway, well played. :)

Everyone one does improve eventually :P Nah I'm happy I sniffed a possible win but it just wasn't meant to be in the end. Great game, one of my closest PC matches by far.

47.6 W Tuckett to Meadows
A superb off-break! And look at the smile on Tuckett's face, he knows it too!!
47.5 W Tuckett to Arber
Edges off the end of the bat and it's Christmas come early for Rheams.
47.4 4 Tuckett to Arber
Arber followed the spin on that ball and cleverly swept it to the boundary.
47.3 W Tuckett to Salmon
I've heard of the ball squeezing through the gate before, but Salmon virtually held it open then! A truly woeful shot and the price for that mistake is duly paid.
47.2 W Tuckett to Kgotso
Huge shout for LBW...and it's given! Replays are suggesting that was missing leg stump but the decision has gone Tuckett's way!
47.1 4 Tuckett to Kgotso
You can't bowl like that to this batsman, he'll murder you.
Quite an eventful over...

well i won my match quite wasily in the end...made 358 for 1 with Lucas making 164* i think it was and Akhzunda 136...Waterhouse also making a quickfire 44 of 25 balls...and got them out on 127...easy peasy...
