And that's the end of the match. TT Lions won by 8 wickets.
Jeanz 88-10
TT Lions 89-2
Haishen got Bunn out for 30 off 49 balls. Rudi scored a patient 37 off 67 balls notout, and Gallgher made a 10 off 32 balls. Took a whole of 24.4 overs to chase this down, but managed it in the end.
Rudi got the MOTM.

End of Over 40: 202-2, runrate=5.05
Abdul kadir 10-1-46-0
Abdul kadir* 11 (22 balls)
Karthikeyan 17 (27 balls)

They are playing too well at the moment! Hopefully, there is some change of fortunes!

End of Over 21: 99-2, runrate=4.71
Cleaver 1-0-1-0
Cunningham* 58 (56 balls)
Howell 9 (18 balls)

get cunningham out and they should collapse, hoping to have them 4 down before they got a hundred, should still win easily though

End of Over 25: 138-1, runrate=5.52
Griffin 6-0-29-0
Forde* 71 (83 balls)
Wilson 54 (61 balls)

Not doing too badly at the halfway stage. Playing the league leaders so if I produce a fairly close finish I won't be too dissapointed. Still, if they stay at this run rate I may even be in with a shot of winning, if Gilroy or Stiles fire and there's some assistance given by one or two of Mason, Heath, Basson, Muir or Fieldwick. We'll see how it goes.

End of Over 31: 137-6, runrate=4.42
Dlomo 6-1-9-3
Cunningham* 78 (78 balls)
David 0 (1 balls)

3 wickets in an over, for dlomo and challis just got cunningham caught in the next over, was aiming to get them out for <150, could still happen

End of Over 33: 184-1, runrate=5.58
Griffin 10-0-51-0
Wilson* 75 (93 balls)
Forde 91 (99 balls)

Could use a wicket or two...

End of Over 43: 256-1, runrate=5.95
Fieldwick 7-0-37-1
Wilson* 119 (128 balls)
Forde 118 (124 balls)

So much for that plan...

45.2 W Otto to Wilson
OUT! Wilson goes back to an impeccable delivery that nips away sharply and takes his outside edge. Splendid bit of bowling.

From an over costing 13, but I don't think I would have won from here whatever happened.

End of Over 46: 287-2, runrate=6.24
Otto 8-0-49-1
Bristow* 2 (2 balls)
Forde 133 (131 balls)

49.2 W Otto to Roets
Bowled. Stumps all over the shop. Great bowling from Otto. Roets had no answer to that.
49.1 W Otto to Forde
Heath collects that one at full stretch! OUT! Oh and a celebratory roll for the crowd too - this lad's all about the entertainment!

Otto nabs 2 in the last over.

End of Over 50: 317-4, runrate=6.34
Otto 10-0-62-3
Bristow* 16 (14 balls)
Mchale 2 (2 balls)

Out of reach I should think. Go down fighting lads.

End of Over 50: 306-3, runrate=6.12
Ifill 10-0-60-2
Longrigg* 6 (3 balls)
Breen 36 (23 balls)

A pretty high total on a dusty pitch. My spinner (Ifill) took 2/60 set to defensive :|

End of Over 12: 58-2, runrate=4.83, reqrunrate=6.55 (306-3)
Angel 1-0-7-0
Bocks* 23 (35 balls)
Wood 18 (20 balls)
Last Wicket: Edwards c. Allaway b. Kerr 8 (FOW: 26/2)

Already two wickets down, if someone could get some runs down we'll be in with a chance.

15.2 W Angel to Bocks
Attempted the reverse sweep, but misreads the length and is bowled.

Damn, he had a good start. 34 from 48 balls. Also one of my better performers in the batting order. Well played anyway.

15.3 W Angel to Lungile
That has knocked Lungile's house down, Angel must have been a fan of the little pig with the straw house.
15.2 W Angel to Bocks
Attempted the reverse sweep, but misreads the length and is bowled.

Oh dear, golden duck for Lungile... He hasn't played very well recently.

18.5 W Breen to Bishop
Oh, that's plumb in front! Swung in nicely, then pitched and straightened down the line of middle and off. Bishop departs shaking his head as the fielding side celebrates!
18.4 . Breen to Bishop
Straight bat, forward, stroked back down the pitch.
18.3 W Breen to Long
The keeper couldn't reach that one, but first slip certainly did.

Ouch. Now Wood has to bat with the tail :( . Its probably all over folks.

10 wicket win

they were all out for 145, i won by 10 wickets

anthony 66 off 66

cornes 79 off 67

mampe didnt need to bat, his PF is slowly getting there

And that's the end of the match. TT Lions won by 7 wickets.
Armadillos 60-10
TT Lions 64-3
I bowled out an active team for 60!! Whing playing for Rudi, Hodge in for Newby.
Crouch 5-0-10-3
Atkinson 5-1-16-3
Andrews 5-0-16-3
Whing 4.2-0-15-1
Tuckett didn't need to bowl!

Spearitt clobbered 32 off 55. Was off to a flying start before slowing. Cox managed only 8, Hodge 7, Gally 5. Crouch not out on 10 off 11, hitting a boundary to seal the deal after 17.1 overs.

Spearitt MOTM in a match where 124 runs were scored for the loss of 13 wickets...

Borncricketers XI vs BFN Bombers

Welcome to Cricketers National Ground for the match between Borncricketers XI and BFN Bombers.

We can tell you that BFN Bombers won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking like a road. As flat as a pancake. No help for the bowlers on this partially cloud day.

Borncricketers XI have selected Bowler, Abdul kadir, Karthikeyan, Rampaul, Hocking, Angell, Mckenzie, Tau, Ali, Masilo, Alshaun.

BFN Bombers have picked Spiller, Gore, Sparrow, Huis, Furlong, Barnard, Boyd, Samuel, Singh, Browne, Breen.

Lets join our team for ball-by-ball commentary.

End of Over 38: 128-5, runrate=3.37
Rampaul 9-2-30-1
Furlong* 31 (34 balls)
Boyd 11 (16 balls)
Last Wicket: Barnard lbw b. Rampaul 4 (FOW: 113/5)

Playing against Sid again today, he's batting first (grrr). Playing with a weaker bowling side but I think my batting, while not completely full strength, will be more than enough to see me home.

End of Over 38: 165-3, runrate=4.34
Stone 9-0-36-2
Resha* 10 (7 balls)
Duncum 30 (62 balls)

Very pleased with Stone, he's a 17 YO spinnier I'm training.

I have high hopes for a score from Basson, opening today (with Stone, who also bats a bit. We'll see how much!)

49.6 4 Griffin to Mohammed
Griffin drops it short and Mohammed rocks onto his back foot and pulls the ball to the mid wicket fence.
49.5 W Griffin to Carter-harris
A big slash by Carter-harris gets a thin edge that goes straight through to the keeper who takes the catch easily.
49.4 W Griffin to Cunningham
Cunningham cuts the ball hard just behind the point fielder and takes off for a quick run, but his partner hasn't moved! Both batsmen are stranded at the non-striker's end as Basson takes off the bails. Bad calling there.
49.3 W Griffin to Ahmed
Someone call the paramedics, that's gone straight down the throat of Mason!
49.2 W Griffin to Harte
I think there might be a few smashed windows in the dressing room after that decision. Harte can't believe it. The umpire blushes after viewing the replay on the big screen.
49.1 1 Griffin to Resha
Well forward, played out to the deep mid wicket region.

Eventful last over to say the least.

End of Over 50: 247-8, runrate=4.94
Griffin 10-0-43-3
Resha* 54 (42 balls)
Mohammed 4 (1 balls)

Not really worried, looking for Basson and Stone to get some runs, hopefully Muir (number 3 today) will too.

well i won easily again against Sri Krishna...thats a 3rd time in a row...my trainee spinner Armstrong getting 3 wickets i think and my newest by getting an unbeaten 50...

First Innings of: Old Wulfs (play as normal)
Name Runs Balls 4s 6s
Basson (+) not out 123 144 9 1
Stone (*) c. & b. Harte 46 72 3 0
Muir not out 66 57 6 0

Very pleased with all 3 of them.

Sid, I had to field a weakened bowling attack to make sure I had a decent bat this time :p
