Controller Support / 360 degree controls

Hi, I guess we'll know when the demo is released hopefully tomorrow, but what's the situation with PC controls? I've just thought - there's 360 degree batting controls aren't there, so the keyboard won't be much use.

Does anyone know what controllers will be supported (specifically a PS2 adapter?)

I'd say the 360 pad is a definite and from what I remember, the PS2 adapter/pad was fine with BLIC 2007...

Cheers, didn't fancy buying a Xbox 360 'Controller for Windows', cos that + the game and you'd be talking more expensive than just buying the PS3 version (buying PC for cheap price and mods)

If you ever did decide to get an Xbox 360 pad, get it from play.com. The game's cheap from there as well:

Ashes 2009 PC: ?17.99
Xbox 360 pad: ?17.99

Which actually only brings it to a little over the PS3 price.

I think you also need to download software drivers for the PS3 Pad.

Windows will say that it has "successfully downloaded the drivers / installed the hardware" but in reality it hasn't done anything.

I don't have a PS3 so somebody else might be able to help you out with finding the proper software.

Ordered a 360 pad for pc just for this game and pre ordered game from Amazon same price and free next day delivery as am prime member.
Remember sitting in living room 10 years ago playing original Playstatio BLC on 21"tv and thinking it was great. Now sitting in front of 24" hi def pc monitor how things change.

mine doesnt for some reason - did you do anything to make it work? iv set it as my p1 controller but it doesnt work at all i have to use keys!

my logitech dual action works. However, the controls are completely illogical.
For example, where l2 would be on a ps3 controller is the pause menu button!?!

Hopefully we can edit the controls in the full version......
