The beta thread must be going wild!

Might check out the first impressions before buying it.
Apparently miles said don’t call it beta anymore call it early access. Which is different to what I got here. Early access to the beta version of C24 lol

You turned revs up to 100 ? That’s how we will know if spin has been activated again.

12.802 GB update in PS4. It's quite a massive update compared to the last 2 updates.
Let's hope it fixes many gameplay issues mentioned here

When you see Comm Bank, KFC, and Toyota logos floating in the air over the stands and behind them, you tend to miss those Pan Bahar ads.
They have finally fixed Kotla (Arun Jaitley Stadium), sigh!

Few early observations.

Fielding is a little better, keeper much improved from his previous madness, but still the odd weirdness, such as this animation used for a return from deep fine, he never faces the right way.

Next is this, im seeing a lot of shots played to leg that really shouldnt be, clear offside bowling and too much shuffling across and playing to leg, will keep an eye on it.

Lastly, 9 overs in, Ashwin, first over, the ball finally turns @blockerdave .

Pitch is dusty so who knows the role thats playing, and im using the Asia/Dusty @Rumple43 sliders, but finally, turn is back.

Looks good. Getting better at least they are shuffling across with feet and not sliding that’s definitely changed.

One thing, as someone else said - looking around the field before bowling use LT is now gone, as is looking at the ball condition using LT & RT.

Very annoying, used to do both often.

Fix something, break something else.

Oh one more - theyve altered the broadcast cams, at least some of them, for bowling, Broad 1 is defo different, 2 a little bit, so other changes defo been made.

Thankfully the key resellers have sold out of cheap(er) Xbox keys so I can't be tempted once the Xbox patch comes out. Sadly looking at the feedback its not near ready to be considered a worthwhile purchase still.

Just played another 10 overs of a previously saved test. I am liking what I see. Wicketkeeper and fielders are moving better. Fielders still doing the weird side steps which results in unnecessary extra runs due to them being late in intercepting the ball. AI has been setting fielders based on what they are bowling with occasional surprises. They set up for short balls, after 3 short balls (that I evaded) they threw in a Yorker without changing field. Caught me by surprise and I was almost very late to block it out. Was an inside edge to the pad. Eventually I got frustrated and took an impulse decision to play a pull shot instead of leaving the ball and got caught infield on square leg.

Incase Matt is reading, can anything be done regarding the stumps sprouting everytime there is a bowled or sometimes even from fielders' throws ? Stumps barely gets ever uprooted now a days. It may look cool when we were 12 years old, but doesn't anymore. Plus making stumps getting uprooted rare (only from fast bowlers) would make it much more special.

I have something to do then until C24 gets playable. Got beta testing duties to do on one of the tools.
