DBC17 Bug Discussion Thread

Hi All .

I thought this Thread was neccesary , where we can have some discussion between ourselves regarding the Bugs picked up , and possible workarounds solutions .

Here`s my first two contributions :

Platform: ps4
Game Version Number: patch 2 installed
Game Mode: Online
Match Type: T20
Teams used: Downloaded Teams
Ground: Downloaded Wanderers
Over Count: N/A
Issue (one line description): While I was batting Batsman got given out LBW , but nothing hit the pad
Bug description (detail): As mentioned above he got given LBW , I reviewed the decision , still no mark on the pad , but Umpires Call stands ? I expected the DBC14 animation where the pad got into the way of the Cut Shot , but it didnt look like that in the video .

@BigAntStudios An update on this glitch : We played an Online Match , and was in a Party Room with Chat enabled .

Same scenario as above , I also got given LBW and reviewed the decision , but the interesting part is this :
On My side (The Guy playing the 3rdm Man Guide shot) , on my review , I saw what I experienced whilst playing the shot . The ball missed the pads by about 10 cm , and got hit to the Boundary for 4 .
But on my Opponents Side , he saw what he also saw whilst bowling , meaning the same shot , but the ball actually hitting the pads .
In the same match we had it the other way around when I was bowling , and the same scenario played out.

So some communication error it seems between the two machines .

Issue (one line description): Custom field not appearing in saved game
Bug description (detail): We were playing a T10 game online and I was able to use custom created field initially (with lot of trouble ofcourse). We saved the game after 2 overs when I was bowling second, the other person invited after an hour. But this time, custom field settings I created were not appearing in the menu at all.

@BigAntStudios We figured this glitch out yesterday , and repeated the glitch . Whenever an Online Match is Saved , whoever sends the Invite again has his Custom Fields , but the poor chap that accepted the Invite is left with only the standard Fields to choose from .

Well well well. My game is now unplayable and doesn't go past the loading screen. Had a few issues while it was good but the one below is the main issue at present. Hoping for some advice/help as I was enjoying the game!

Platform: PS4
Game Version Number: Latest (Version 1.02 I believe, I can't check it as I can't get in the game)
Game Mode: N/A (At boot up)
Teams used: Was playing a Test match and saved when problem first arose (India vs Australia - both downloaded)
Ground: Eden Gardens (Created/downloaded)
Over Count: End of 1st innings, CPU team bowled out.
Issue (one line description): Can't get past reading data/profile etc
Bug description (detail): As I went to save the test match I was playing, I went out of the game. As the loading circle went around (reading data etc) the game crashed. I know that turning off during these situations causes data corruption, so I think it may be down the same line. Now upon starting the game it doesn't get passed the reading data phase. For the record, I also had crashes when starting career matches.

Your Profile Date / or Logo Data File got corrupted . You will have to go into the PS4 Settings , to Application Management (I think) , and delete the Logo Data file (I dont think the Profile Data file is the Corrupted one . If you have PS Plus , it cloud saves the Profile Data file & the Logo Data file . You can try and use these versions (although they may be slightly outdated , but better than starting all over) . If you dont get that right or dont have PS Plus Cloud Saves enabled , only way is to then go into the game , and re-download all the Teams , Bats , Stadiums , etc. As you will have them , but their Logos will all be gone .

Happened to a couple of okes already .
