Do we need more mods here?

If u guys have just seen 'soccerexpert' posting lots of crap for almost 10 minutes or so.And no admins or global mods were here to ban him.So do we need more global mods here?This will lessen the burden on the current one.

Yes that will be good.Staff members should be given the ability to ban.

Moderators shouldn't have a schedule, they don't need to devote their life to these forums. They all have a life to live, and considering all they have to do they do a great job. No more moderators are needed.

This is pretty good , Staff can hve the rights to ban , i just said increase mods just because what happened today , was really worst

I think anything under 30 mins is excellent tbh. Brad and I were both on to deal with it and Kev was on about 10 mins later.

Yeah i was doing the best i could. i even tried Pming him but that was never going to work. I coudl tell you if he posted in the stories forum that he wouldnt get past me there

Mods have a social life too you know. I don't blame them at all for not spending their life devoted to a forum. We can't go around just handing out modships like they are newsletters outside WHSmith because they will just lose their purpose because there would be too many.

I think the current level of mods is fine - 10 minutes was infact pretty quick! Much quicker than the last time some loser came and posted racist stuff, in which case it was the next morning.
I suppose the best thing for the members to do would be to ignore the posts, but its very easy for me to say that really, and I know it would be quite hard to control yourself in that situation, but if you do (and just use the Report Post button) it would really really help the mods I think.
