Sorry for starting a new thread but I just had to ask this question.-

Does the CPU play realistically in ODI's? Suppose the target is 306 in 50 overs, do they bat according to the situation (meaning a good run rate which keeps them on track) ? Also does the CPU try to settle down and not play shots when they have lost some quick wickets?

No most of the time they do play according to the situation. They'll try and keep their run rate at the req. rate. Say if they need 4 an over and they fet four then they don't really take risks in that over. They just hit the bad ones defend the good ones until the next over.

Yeah the computer does seem to play as the situation leads them. They chase runs when needed and always try to hit out in the last few overs of any ODIs.

Hey are there any bugs in Cricket 2005 that take away the enjoyment of the game?
