ME: ‘Right Jacob, we’ve got the same squad to pick from for the One-dayers. What you thinking?’
JO: ‘Well, Sean has always batted very well in the domestic game over 50 overs so I want him in there and I’d like Fulton to sit at the top of the order as well.’
ME: ‘The bowling?’
JO: ‘I think we need to have me as the sixth bowler as we haven’t got a lot of mix and match bowlers in there. I’d also like a spinner in there at all times and although Luke can hold a bat, Jeetan has looked good in the nets.’

Post Series Press Conference

IS: ‘Ian Smith, SKY Sports New Zealand. 2-0 Test defeat, both games not even close against a weak West Indian side. You must be disappointed?’
ME: ‘Not really. Of course I’m disappointed with losing the Test series. I’m disappointed to lose any game of cricket but you must remember the situation we are in. I think they acquitted themselves well and by the One-day series were getting well into international mode. Which, is obviously the mode of the game we do excel in, although one of my aims in charge is to change that and level out our ability in both forms. Don’t tell me that the West Indies are a weak side though Ian. Brian Lara, Chris Gayle, Shivnarine Chanderpaul. Are you telling me they aren’t world-class players!’

DL: ‘David Leggat, New Zealand Herald. It was a very inexperienced squad, how do you feel the new caps got on?’
ME: ‘Well, it’s difficult for them. But as they’ve shown, they are adjusting to it. It’s a step up and it takes 5 or 10 games to get fully into International cricket and they are starting to do that. I will be very excited by the improvement they could make in Pakistan in October.’

ME: ‘Any other questions?’

(Opens the floor to you rabble!)

Blimey now that is a shocking loss in the test series. I'm sure as the players get more experienced then they will become better meaning NZ will become beater and then maybe world beaters.
Just something I would like to add to improve your story is; screenshots of the scorecards but other than that the writing and post-match conferences are perfectly fine.
