IGN's review is good but its score is off. Reading the first few paragraphs, it was like from a 8.5-9 rated game. For the review they gave, knowing it was patchable, it must have been atleast a 7.5. Considering they are comparing with GTA, FIFA etc.

It does, however, allow people in the comments to argue that although it was a 7, it read more like an 8.

^A 6.8 . The runouts, absence of fielding radar and superhuman fielding is the only glitch they could come up but it does not justify this kind of score. It deserves 7.5 at least. Screw you IGN.

Yeah there are a lot of people in the comments section panning the review, if you can wade through the plethora of comments saying "lol cricket".

TBH... "Greatest Cricket Game Ever Made" is what's going on the skite posters and the box art of the GOTY edition

I never have paid much attention to reviews, especially when the reviewers seem to have an axe to grind. The only review that I can 100% rely on is mine.
Buy the game and come to your own conclusions.
