Dunga became the latest casualty of the FIFA World Cup 2010, as he was sacked as the coach of Brazil after the team's shocking defeat against the Netherlands in the quarterfinal.

The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) confirmed the dismissal of Dunga. The 46-year-old Dunga had already hinted that he would resign. So, the sacking did not came to him as a surprise.

Carlos Caetano Bledorn Verri alias Dunga led Brazil to the World Cup victory in 1994, but he failed to repeat the magic in 1998. He took over as the coach of Brazilian team in 2006 after the sacking of Carlos Alberto Parreira.

Read the news in the newspaper today morning. Quite surprising. I feel he was very good during the WC as a coach.

He was going to leave after the 2010 World Cup anyway I'm fairly sure, so it's not really big news..
