Eddie ,it is nice patch indeed.Can you increase the speed of fast bowlers as currently it does not look like real.

Westindies won off the last ball!

anyway they scored 178 off 50overs on a normal pitch on hard. I didn't really enjoy the bowling as much as tutsi's. The cpu play the same strokes over and over. During the middle overs against the spinners they couldn't score at all. I took 7 wickets in the last 7 overs by setting a deffensive field and letting the cpu lob it to my outfielders. So at the moment I'll rate your batting better than tutsi's but not the bowling/pacing yet,, great effort

Yes batting is quite enjoyable but it needs that cpu selects it's shots more intelligently.

Should releasing Patch v_2.0 by tonight.

Feature that have been tweaked since v_1.0

- backfoot late-cut :-> increased power
- backfoot straight drive :-> increase power
- backfoot on drive :-> slightly less power
- straigth drive "6-hit" :-> made harder
- square cut :-> hopefully made more playable for human and CPU.
- fast bowlers made a little quicker.
- Increase ablitly of CPU to play spinner, by way of them playing a wider range of shorts (hopefully)

As i said ..should be released sometime tonight.

Here it is Version 2.0 ENJOY!!!!!!

Good work Eddie, it's an improvement on the first version. You planning on releasing a version 3?

Yeap, its kinda on-going work..

To make real progress I think we need to do the following:

1. Change all the default fields (work in progress)

2. Slow those d@mn fielders down (do-able once a player editor is made)

3. Change where the CPU bowls (IE: less yorkers and more outside off-stump).

1 & 2 are do-able in the near future, unfortunately 3 isn't (yet), and thats the worst thing which needs fixing.

Anyone thought of writing to EA Sport and asking them how to edit the bowling? Sounds silly, but you never know..

I also wrote in to them. Even if they help just a little it could be valuable, and this is one thing that is So Important!

The AI is still too easy to bowl out in 50 over
ODI's(proper bowling), even with Tutsi's or Eddies
AI patch. They just get bogged down after loosing
a few wickets and they're usually bowled out
around 30 overs.

Well that's how my games seem to go anyhow :(

This getting bogged down period really needs some
serious attention :mad :D

one thing frustrates me is when a fielder gives up a chase when he can dive and stop the bal more than a meter from the boundary. Think anything can be done about this?

A few times Bhajji gave up a chase. In reality Bhajji goes for dives at the boundary!!
