Obviously the ICC is going to do nothing about Middlesex and Kent not releasing players for international matches.
I wish I could work for the ICC, it seems the easiest job ever. All I have to do is wear a suit and tie to the few meetings each year and if anything important gets done, just hire experts from outside the board to do it.

What a remarkable cricketing family Ed Joyce has! 2 sisters and 2 brothers have played professionally. They're not regular players or anything, but it's still an achievement.
Anyway, a rather disappointing game for England considering their trouble to finish off the tail, but that's pretty much expected these days. A decent total, and good to see Trescothick amongst the runs again, together with Bell. Harmison, well, he can be inaccurate, and will have to monitor that at times, but his three wickets proved to be vital. As someone said earlier, had Middlesex released their two internationals, it could've been very different, but then again England weren't at full strength either. Very good signs for Irish cricket, though, they kept up the fighting spirit for the entire contest.

Finishing off the tail.
Well we did bowl Bell and Dalrymple, one part timer and one inexperienced bowler up till the 47th over.
Ireland played better yesterday than quite a few of the Bangladesh games vs us last year.
