Nazir out, fantastic innings. Isn't it ironic that Woolmer spent so long trying different opening partnerships and the game after his unfortunate death, an opener gets a brilliant hundred. He'll be smiling down on Pakistan now.

Last ODI innings for Inzi, sad to see a great ODI career come to an end, but hopefully he can carry on being a fantastic batsman in the test arena.

pakistan put up a big score and a nice innings by imran nazir I hope he plays like this in the future and he can be the next saeed anwer.

The good news is that Zimbabwe have bowled Pakistan out within their 50 overs. However, 349 is Pakistan's highest World Cup score, and Zimbabwe will have to better their best score to win an ODI by more than 50 runs.

Iftikhar Anjum played nice 2 sixes by him

Amazing knock by Nazir would have done wonders for his confidence and now i pray that he carries his form on and build from here for the future...

Inzi what a man.. great to see him make his 37 and the ending was great and touchy moment...

Anjum OMG he is better than some of the batsmen atm.. i am not kidding that lad can become a bit of a batsmen like Pathan with bit of coaching... see his legside flick six..effortless...

Great total by PAK jus wish it had come a little earlier in the tournament

What a knock by Nazir if only one other guy had stayed with him they could be the latest team looking at 400.

well well well...i heard that bob didn't pick Nazir for the squad and didn't want too but the selectors made him pick nazir...lol...anyways what a brilliant brilliant knock by nazir...superb...he was in great touch today...afridi got out stupidly...if only he would have stayed there and had a look at the pitch for a while...but yeah...that was a good catch to get rid of Nazir...200 was broken for me for a moment...and what classy sixes by Rao...amazin...lol...only if they could have done that before...but again they didn't have any pressure today...

30/3 now...rain stopped play...looks like it's gonna be played tomorrow...

12.2 Danish Kaneria to Matsikenyeri, OUT, big heave from Matsikenyeri and he misses, Akmal goes for the stumping and he is back in ... sadly, the runner, Taylor, is standing a foot out of the crease, blissfully ignorant that he actually needs to be back inside the crease as well.

LOL...hahahahahaha...plonker...he's been out twice now on two balls...lol...

14.4 Danish Kaneria to Chigumbura, SIX, another one, hit flat and hard, it never got more than eight feet off the ground, wide of long-on
14.3 Danish Kaneria to Chigumbura, SIX, and again! This time a full toss is smashed over cow corner into the empty stands
14.2 Danish Kaneria to Chigumbura, SIX, that's gone into orbit, smacked into the upper tier over long-on. It's fun ... all in vain, but fun

LOL...but hes gone...Afridi bowled him...it is over now...

Kaneria is takin a right beatin...he goes for another six...

16.3 Danish Kaneria to Brent, SIX, same ball, same shot, but this time he really middles it and sends it out of the ground, it bounces on the stand roof and onwards to freedom

but all in vain now...

16.6 Danish Kaneria to Williams, OUT, Williams goes for another big hit, this time he doesn't get over it and Gul races in from long-on and holds on easily to a steepler
SC Williams c Umar Gul b Danish Kaneria 11 (9b 0x4 1x6) SR: 122.22
16.5 Danish Kaneria to Williams, SIX, one step, it was wide, he reached and drove that back over long-on. That's five sixes off Kaneria who cannot grip it

Kaneria goes for another six but gets his man right after it...

well it's all over...99ao Zimbawe...brilliant performance by pakistan today...if they had performed like this before, group stages wouldn't have been a problem...final ball of zimbawe and pakistans WC 2007...
19.1 Mohammad Yousuf to Mpofu, OUT, slow and loopy, driven to cover where Inzamam holds the catch. Huge grins all round, and Yousuf has not smiled more when he's scored hundreds. Even Simon Tauful can't help grinning

lol...i think inzi should have come on to bowl himself but at least he got the last catch...good bye inzi...we will miss you...

*cries*
