Nice win, nice to have the points for the next round, but now we have to let this one go. Time to move on and set our eyes on the WI this week. Let's give it to them :)

It looked pretty good up till that run out from the boundary from Watson. I think if that hadn't happened, it would have been a close game. Australia would be relieved that they could finally defend a score of above 300 against full-member opposition. :D

Hussey should go up the order for the West Indies game on Wednesday. I would put him at 4th or even 5th. He's one of our big time weapons and he needs some time in the middle. We need him up and going for the rest of the World Cup. Just think about having him going at his best with the way the rest of the team is playing right now

Funny how Aussie1st wanted Hayden dropped lol.

Hodge was dropped, as I rekoned should be the case, and the batting looked solid. Bowling was alright considering the surface.

Kallis was absolutly useless. Absolutly selfish batting from him, cost them any chance. Seriously, he's one of those players in World Cricket who you think doesn't really give a toss. Not that SA probably woulda got home anyway. Aussies bowled well in the second half of the match.

South Africa finally paid the price for having a bowling attack lacing variation, a quality spin bowler. All the pace men were smashed around all the same really.

We play you guys as our last Super8 match. Could be an interesting game, we could be playing for a spot in the semi's. Lets hope we are already guarenteed a place by then. Would be nice to keep our winning streak going.

Seriously, no. Clarke and Ponting were batting just as slowly for much of their partnership. The difference was that they were in a partnership, they got settled, played off each other and accelerated. The batsmen who threw away their wickets were as much to blame as the lone hand plodding along.

Dropping Hussey  , in which Paper , what was the headline

Though we should not be surprise , becasue this si not India , a player cannot score runs in 2-3 matches still he get chance to play :p

Actually its not Huseey's fault , he is coming to bat in slog overs  that time he will hit , he cannot play his normal game ;)

Probably a Victorian paper calling for Hodge :)
No way he should be dropped, every player goes through a slump for Hussey it's just a slump in hitting out. I'm sure when we need him he'll produce the goods.

They should just put an end to Hussey's finishing days. We've got to push him up the order.
Can't drop him though, he made a century acouple of matches ago.
