Can someone explain the adboards with Modi on ?

It’s election year in India, might have something to do with it.

I keep getting online ads for it in nearly place I visit.

Can't imagine seeing political ads at a sporting event elsewhere. Apart from when I made Mar-a-Lago cricket stadium on Cricket 19 and had Trump/Pence ads but that was a joke.

Patidar and Sarfaraz had the best opportunity to stake claim here. While I'd still give Sarfaraz some benefit here, Patidar has been a headache for all involved.

I assume the US does them too which is how they might have got the idea like in so many other instances.

I feel Patidar has no business being in a test XI; I questioned his inclusion in the A Team two months ago for comparison’s sake. He’s been good in the last 2-3 years but merely being good in FC cricket whilst being on the wrong side of thirty and getting to the next level after a season of performance as an injury replacement in the IPL isn’t how you would want the team to be selected when there’s younger blokes with similar or better numbers out there.

Haven't seen them today, but can assume this to be on account of General Elections in the country in about 60 odd days from now.

The state too, seems to be under the BJP control, hence the adboards? Or it is possible that the adboards were showing a pet project of Modi's. Whichever way you look at it, it is on account of promoting the Prime Minister towards a record 3rd consecutive stint.

India is doomed. I think it's fair to say Dharmashala will be the decider.

I 100% can't see India coming back from this.

I see them adding a max of 50 runs(being overly optimistic here).

The only way India can actually win this is if England capitulate to a 36 all out sorta scenario.

15 is my prediction. There's only Aakash and lord Siraj to follow.

I reckon even if England score 75-100 and declare, they would still win.

This goes into double figures and England will definitely start to feel the pressure. Don't see us going through the last three like India did
