FIFA08 vs PES2008

In fairness to PES08 though, they were comparing PES08 faces to PES6 faces that have been patched. That Gerrard face is not the original Gerrard face on an unpatched version of the game.

No doubt PES6 is better than PES08, but these videos are pointless. What kind of sad twat plays a game to highlight the flaws and then make a video about it? There's probably videos similar to that regarding FIFA's flaws and bugs, but i'm nto sad enough to find them.
 
I have to disagree about the player faces - on high settings the default PES08 faces are of a much higher quality than those found in PES6.

That is the unpatched version on PES08, no face pack, as I think they clutter my HD.

The difference in quality is there for all to see.
 
And he looks uncomfortable, the normal face on PES6 is far better than the one on PES08 to me.
 
I'll say this. No-one has ever claimed that PES has better graphics than Fifa so for people to expect the kits (which EA holds the license to) and stadiums to look better is ludicrous. Konami's attraction is its gameplay and that has always been the case.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, making a video simply to highlight the flaws of a game (some of which are very petty or unfounded) is just stupid really and I'd rather someone gave their own account of the game than go searching for videos like these on Youtube.
 
Lol, how has this thread evolved from a Fifa08 vs Pes08 debate to a Pes08 vs Pes6 debate?

I tried to sell PES for the first time ever but the shop didn't want it :(
 
I'd rather not. I'm not as sad as you. If you don't like PES then don't play it and stay with your beloved FIFA. That's the best advice I can give. So stop wasting your time and going out of your way to show us why PES is apparently crap.

Amen to that! PES 2008 is the best football game around at the moment by some distance.
