First Preview of TableTop Cricket

A few weeks ago we brought you some exclusive pictures of Big Ant cricket game. Today we are proud to bring you some exclusive screenshots of their other cricket title called Table Top Cricket.

This is in line with this article posted over a year ago which mentioned Big Ant would be working on two projects for their foray into cricket gaming. The first as mentioned will be for the more serious cricket game and we have already been given a taster of this a few weeks ago.

The other game which Big Ant have already titled Table Top Cricket is more the more light-hearted version which will be looking to attract the more casual gamer so of whom may not even be cricket fans over to cricket. This will be distributed on the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network

Looks better than i first thought, to be honest i did not
know what to think about this game. Now i'm interested,
like other have said something to play till the 2 other big
cricket games get release.

p.s Ross what can you tell us about this game, like how is it played.
Options and when will it be released.

Looks cute. Got a "Stick Cricket on steroids" feel to it... Wonder if this would be more suited to tablet-gaming?

Why are both bowler and WK at the same end in the first pic?

The bowler is actually walking to the other end, if you look closely he is tossing the ball in the air as he walks (not bowling).

The Batsman is not playing a shot, he's in practising running his bat through the line.

I can see this is a confusing shot and probably shouldn't have been used.

The Batsman is disapointed as he's played the shot poorly, the bowler is disappointed (as is a fielder) because he isn't given out

All of the emotions in the game are extremely exagerated, it's meant to be fun, in normal cricket of course a batsman that disappointed would probably be given out just for looking like that.

This looks great, have to admit it looks way better than what I expected initially. It should get us going until the real stuff come out. Please can you tell. Me when can we expect new screenies for the actual cricket game?? Can you get few sceenies for that game too??
