I really am racking up some massive scores. Just need one of my players to get 200.

End of over 50 (12 runs) - Baggy Blues(439-3) RR 8.78
D. Thompson 157 (95b) , K. Sivasubramaniam 13 (7b) , S. McDonald 10-0-100-0

Lalit had 150 off 113 balls.

I scored 400 as well in yesterdays match. Managed to make 405/2 in 50 over's, Elgin scoring 212* off 168 balls, his first double century in only 6 OD matches. He is a expert/accomplished batsman. Fiebig scored 96 and O'Leary scored 67* off 45 balls. Bowled them out for 127, Kwistel taking 3/29 (10), Fiebig taking 2/30 (10) and the captain himself taking 3/23 (9.3). He is an unbelievable player. Black and Naeem chipped in with a wicket each.

Murray Oldroyd has also had a good start to his Senior career with 14 catches and 3 stumpings in 9 OD matches and 6 catches and 3 stumpings in 6 T20 matches. He has also got a OD fifty to his name so far. The right man to take the keeping from Dion Tribe. Let's have a look back at the retired legend, Dion Tribe.

B. Allen 5 (16b) , P. Lalor 7 (28b) , G. Mortimer 6-0-14-1

Fiebig, you idiot. Hits a six, second ball he faces and then he gets out.

0.3 W Gray to Fiebig : Fiebig appears to have mixed his hobby and day-job together fishing at that one outside off and giving Dickson a nice easy catch at point.
J. Fiebig c C. Dickson b. A. Gray 6 (3b 0x4 1x6) SR:200.00

0.2 6 Gray to Fiebig : That was barely medium pace from Gray, and Fiebig had no trouble smashing that over long-off. Dropped in the crowd, though, as the spectator valued his beer above the catch

Not a good start. The double century scorer in his last OD match gets out for 2. Now 13/2 after 2.1 over's.

1.3 W Rahman to Elgin : Bowled Him!! A nice little outswinger from Rahman brushes the pad and clips Elgin's off stump.
M. Elgin b. N. Rahman 2 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR:40.00

hedger_14 added 12 Minutes and 10 Seconds later...

O'Leary is getting us back in the game. 250+ on this pitch will be a good total. Seems like there is not much in it for the batsman.

End of over 6 (10 runs) - Hedger's Team(33-2) RR 5.50
A. O'Leary 17 (13b) , S. Byrne 6 (17b) , N. Rahman 3-0-18-1

hedger_14 added 17 Minutes and 18 Seconds later...

Byrne is going very slowly. Just conserving his wicket.

End of over 12 (2 runs) - Hedger's Team(52-2) RR 4.33
A. O'Leary 26 (28b) , S. Byrne 15 (38b) , D. Sanders 1-0-2-0

hedger_14 added 17 Minutes and 41 Seconds later...

They should start to hurry up now. O'Leary's going along fine but Byrne is going very slow.

End of over 17 (5 runs) - Hedger's Team(67-2) RR 3.94
A. O'Leary 35 (43b) , S. Byrne 21 (53b) , B. Buchanan 4-1-7-0

Managed to make 179 from 48 over's. Oldroyd put on a few handy runs at the end. Hele survived 31 balls as well.

End of over 48 (maiden) - Hedger's Team(179-10) RR 3.73
M. Oldroyd 20 (33b) , M. Jhunjhunwala 8.5-1-24-1

A bowlers pitch it is. Started off nicely, getting a wicket maiden, first over.

End of over 7 (5 runs) - Melbourne Demons(15-1). 165 runs required from 43 overs. RR 2.14 RRR 3.84
G. Vernon 5 (18b) , I. Mansfield 8 (19b) , G. Phillips 4-1-8-1

Tindall's started well and troubling the batsman.

End of over 15 (2 runs) - Melbourne Demons(33-2). 147 runs required from 35 overs. RR 2.20 RRR 4.20
R. Malhotra 2 (6b) , G. Vernon 14 (39b) , F. Tindall 3-0-5-1

My team fairly in trouble, chasing a moderate total of 246,they have lost 8 wickets for just 129 runs:facepalm:crying

That 95K spent today on Phillips was worth it. Comes out and takes 6 wickets. Tindall bowled pretty well. Took a wicket, should have had 2 if Byrne held onto the catch. Finished with 1/31 from ten overs.

End of over 30 (1 run) - Melbourne Demons(98-7). 82 runs required from 20 overs. RR 3.27 RRR 4.10
M. Jhunjhunwala 0 (0b) , B. Buchanan 7 (4b) , G. Phillips 10-1-42-6

And Rogers takes 2 wickets in his first over.

End of over 31 (maiden) - Melbourne Demons(98-9). 82 runs required from 19 overs. RR 3.16 RRR 4.32
N. Rahman 0 (0b) , M. Jhunjhunwala 0 (0b) , H. Rogers 1-1-0-2

hedger_14 added 3 Minutes and 13 Seconds later...

And it's all over. Rogers takes 3/0.

End of over 33 (maiden) - Melbourne Demons(98-10). 82 runs required from 17 overs. RR 2.97 RRR 4.82
M. Jhunjhunwala 0 (6b) , H. Rogers 1.1-1-0-3

23.6 W Harten to Malik : [catch] Malik has gone for a massive swipe, but has only managed to toe the ball in the air straight to Parkin at mid-on.
U. Malik c S. Parkin b. T. Harten 3 (15b 0x4 0x6) SR:20.00

25.1 W Harten to Yousuf : Gone. Clean bowled. Simple as that.
Z. Yousuf b. T. Harten 44 (61b 3x4 0x6) SR:72.13

25.2 W Harten to Akram : [catch] Afternoon tea time! Jaffa of a ball there from Harten, moving away from Akram at the last moment. It wasn't there to be nibbled at and it stuck like jam to Heaney's hands. A shame for Akram but that's the way the cookie crumbles...
U. Akram c A. Heaney b. T. Harten 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

That is 5 wickets for Harten!

A hattrick for Harten!

My first hattrick on FTP and we cruised to victory by 69 runs :)

This is really going down to the wire. Playing the other top team in my group.

My innings. An alright total.

End of over 50 (3 runs) - Hedger's Team(220-9) RR 4.40
F. Tindall 8 (19b) , B. Kwistel 4 (11b) , A. Henty 10-1-44-4

Looking to cruise to victory for them.

End of over 30 (7 runs) - jacko tribute cc(159-3). 62 runs required from 20 overs. RR 5.30 RRR 3.10
L. Ganga 16 (10b) , P. Walker 72 (77b) , J. Fiebig 5-1-23-1

19 runs were conceded between over's 30 and 40 which was very good.

Now looking to be a very close game

End of over 46 (3 runs) - jacko tribute cc(207-9). 14 runs required from 4 overs. RR 4.50 RRR 3.50
A. Henty 0 (0b) , S. McDonald 24 (37b) , F. Naeem 8-0-49-3

The last over which was very important to me.

45.6 W Naeem to Ward : A misjudgment of Gattingesque proportions from Ward. On a length, the ball jagged back. He had already decided to shoulder arms and the ball smacked into his back leg. It looked out before the appeal had even reached the 'zat' stage and the umpire agreed.
R. Ward lbw b. F. Naeem 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

45.5 . Naeem to Ward : [dropped] An edge, but Oldroyd left it to first slip and first slip left it for the keeper. Naeem is livid.
45.4 W Naeem to Vidanapathirana : The only thing that was missing was the bat. As plumb as they get!
K. Vidanapathirana lbw b. F. Naeem 0 (2b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

45.3 . Naeem to Vidanapathirana : A swing and a miss there. Vidanapathirana must be a keen angler judging by the amount of fishing he’s doing outside off stump.
45.2 W Naeem to Lawes : Lawes is usually a good hooker, but couldn't quite get over it this time. Caught down at fine leg by Fiebig.
R. Lawes c J. Fiebig b. F. Naeem 0 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00

45.2 nb Naeem to Lawes : A well aimed yorker, but well defended by Lawes.
45.1 . Naeem to Lawes : Huge appeal in unison by Naeem, Oldroyd and Kwistel. The umpire thinks for a while, before finally shaking his head. A loud, "Get some new glasses!" is heard from the crowd.
45.1 nb1 Naeem to McDonald : McDonald pushes it through the gap for a single out to Byrne.

hedger_14 added 9 Minutes and 42 Seconds later...

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I lost after getting so close. Why did I have to have that slip in.

End of over 50 (5 runs) - jacko tribute cc(221-9) RR 4.42
A. Henty 3 (3b) , S. McDonald 35 (55b) , F. Naeem 9.3-0-56-3
