To sum up,

  • Nauman isn't a moderator, he isn't involved in the day to day running of the site, and just helps us with coding from time to time.
  • Post count has no bearing on position at the site, quality not quantity. Activity on the site is a factor in mod choices, but no one is selected on that alone, there is a combination of factors at play. In Nauman's case, the expertise he brought with him was why he is on the staff.
  • Asking to become a mod won't make you one, it does more harm than good.
  • Searching before posting is helpful, and gives you a quicker answer.
