Somewhat baseless. Let's just do a little bit of comparing between the two:

You've got me convinced. I don't understand why Sehwag is often blamed for being erratic in tests with those stats. He does tend to play a lot of attacking shots, that's his natural game, but he's been pretty successful playing that way in tests.

Don't think that i'm a Pakistani, and i'm trying to player hate him, there are few Indian players that I think are the best ever cricketers, but I've never rated Sehwag as one of them.

Dravid > Sehwag > Yuvi

Thing with Sehwag is he can look quite ordinary, when we know what lurks beneath. Very good player, on his day, one of the most destructive. I'd rather have Smith though.

His technique won't do him much anywhere else except the subcontinent, saying that Smith's technique isn't much better either.

well smith got much proper techinque and plays according to the situation where sehwag is all about hand eye thats all no real technique and doesnt play according to the situation like today what a stupid shot he palyed to get out

Didn't you guys see what Boycott said about Sehwag,

"He is talented, very talented, but he has no brains"

I agree with him... sehwag has to use his brains...

Please read through the whole thread. He has scored many hundreds outside the subcontinent.

Does that have anything to do with the technique?

Why do you bash his technique if he does his job otherwise? He's scored runs overseas--in Australia and South Africa. If you're going to ignore that and argue about his technique then the whole world might as well just talk about cricket and never play it.

I'm just saying that he quoted a post by pak_cricketer regarding technique, I don't argue otherwise. (In other words I'm asking why quote him?)
