I read in my newspaper(yesterday) that on the day before a Canadian bookshop accidentaly sold 14 copies of the book in advance . They were asked to return the books and didn't, but promised not to talk, show, or read the book until release, which is tommorow at 3:01 PM....
Personally I don't see what all the fuss is about. But I can't see why if people have already bought it why they wouldn't read it.

Friggen hell!Just go to mugglenet.com and then to the Phoanix files and then to 'seamus'.
I think there is pretty much a confirmation that there will be someone killed off.Only an hour and ten minutes till the book is released at the state library of victoria.I'll be down at victoria gardens though.Good reading everyone!

POST CONTAINS SPOILERS. DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOK

post is below (I've edited the thread title)

Well, I've just finished HBP and I really liked it. It advances the plot far more than books 4 and 5 together and sets up book 7 nicely.
Well done to everyone who predicted Dumbledore to die and Snape as the half-blood prince. I'm also glad that JK Rowling has given up writing 'angry angsty Harry' and is back to writing the Harry I recognise from books 1-4. I was quite amused by all the coupling going on but still not happy that Harry doesn't get with Luna!
Any speculation on who RAB is? I'm thinking Regalus Black...

dammit, I shouldn't have read your post, barmyarmy. I was too tempted, though. But now all the surprise is gone. :(

It's all right man, I read the book afterwards. In the middle, let's just say, without giving anything away, the "kissing" gets pretty boring. But, overall, for me it was probably the book with the most action and maybe drew the most emotion at the end. Good stuff, but the guy who dies was my favourite character, don't know how the last book would be without him.

Near the end of the book(i've been taking it slowly.Which is where i am now,85 pages left!),i did think that dd might die,i haven't got there yet,so it was a bit spoiled for me.
One thing(the only thing),i'm looking forward to in the movies is the 'snogging'(funny word),very funny,i can just imagine ron 'eating' lavendar's face!Well i think i should go and finish the books now.

Some interesting theories flying around on the web that Dumbledore was pleading not for his life but for his death. The idea seems to be that Snape still isn't evil after all and this was all part of a big plan to bring about Voldermorts destruction. I'm not convinced personally, sounds like basic denial to me.
