When I tries to change the name of player using the player editor of cricket 2002 ti crashes back to desktop.

I mean that squad menu where I could change the team's player's names.

Try using the player editor for c2002 then. You can get it at http://www.cricket2002.tk.

Well then keep on crashing to the desktop until you lose it or try re-installing the game.
