Help with editing

Does anyone know how to change the description of the players when editing a team?

I mean wether the player is classed as a Batsman, Bowler, All Rounder or Wicketkeeper

Andrew I am really not sure but I think Cricket 2002 Player Editor v1.1 by Tom Hicks should help you.

I think Batting Avg and Bowling Avg make the that player batter, bowler or all rounder.

I could be wrong.

Not too sure, cos I set a fielding position to WIcket Keeper and the players description didn't change to Wicket Keeper

As soon as you changed the player description to Wicket Keeper, did you save the changes before going to the next player??
If so then I have no idea how to help you.

You can set the wicketkeeper and so on in the player editors as mentioned here but I'm not quite sure what determines the description of the player. Maybe some extra field in the ctm files since there's still minor undiscovered stuff in the ctms like team ratings.

However gameplay wise the only thiing the game considers is the aggresive/moderate/defensive parameter so I dont think it really matters except as a statistic.

Cheers Vineet. I've decided to expand on my all-star squad project and make a full stats update for all players as they are now the world cup's finsihed, so there'll be slightly more realistic averages for some of the minnow players. I'll be working on that this weekend
