Independence Day Contest

Since indepence day is coming up, i have decided to hold an contest between all PC GFX makers.


Theme:

A Signature and an Avatar on Pakistan or India (your Choice)

Size:

For Avatars - Between 50x50 and 100x100
For Signatures - Between 300x100 and 500x200


Conditions:
Entries must be sent to Waqaspk456 (via PM) by :-

Day : Tuesday
Date : 10 August 2010

Rules:

Signature/Avatar on Pakistan or India Indepence day
Pre-made entries are not allowed i.e the participant has to make a new artwork to enter the competition.
No participant can post their entry anywhere else before the results are declared

THE RESULTS WILL BE DECLARED IN 48 HOUR POLL THAT PC MEMBERS WILL VOTE IN.

THE MEMBER WITH MOST VOTES WILL BE OUR WINNER :happy

First-1,000,000
Second-500,000
Third-200,000

Good idea, but I guess you copied the content of the PCGMC right?
BTW, why don't we all ask Pranav to run it as a Special Competition in PCGMC?

If you have permission, no problem.
But why don't to change the competition a bit?

Ask the contestants to make the Wall paper rather than a sig and avvy.
Cause Sig and Avvy are the things used in only our forums, but when it comes to wall papers, everyone who has computer can use it.

Or, Make it three competitions run in parallel.
Competition 1: Signatures.
Competition 2: Avatars.
Competition 3: Wall papers.

I suggest you to run the three competitions separately.

Anyway, its upto you, and my thoughts are just my suggestions. Its not that you have to follow or something like that.

i choosed sig and avatar because PC members could show their spirt for any nations by seting the best entry or their favorite entry as sig, but ill take more suggestions...sig or wallY?

Your idea is fine, a wallpaper will take too long to be a simple entry.

I don't think deciding the winner by a Poll will be a good idea because most Indians will vote for entries relating India and Pakistanis for Pakistan related entries.

Do a thing. Request KBC/Pranav and KarachiXpress/Ahad to be the Judges. KBC/Pranav will rate the entries of Pakistani related works and KX/Ahad will rate the Indian related works.
