india unlikely to replace sri lanka for the tour of New Zealand

From the bbc website

India are unlikely to accept an offer to play in New Zealand as a replacement for Sri Lanka, who cancelled their tour after the devastating Asian tsunami.
"We have not heard from New Zealand, but even if we did it is doubtful the proposal will be accepted," said Indian cricket board official Amrit Mathur.

"The boys have been busy for six months and need rest before Pakistan tours India from the last week of February."

Sri Lanka lost the only match played on the tour, a one-day international.

New Zealand chief Martin Snedden had said he hoped India could be pursuaded to take the place of Sri Lanka in order to give the Kiwis competitive cricket before the arrival of Australia in February.

But with India unwilling, a replacement looks unlikely as all other Test playing nations are already in action.

Strange topic title there. The title is India may replace Sri Lanka, and then the post (taken from the BBCs website without credit) is about how they're not going to replace them! Whatever happened to meaningful topic titles?
