Translation is Mandatory.
it means that Indians create so much hype around their players and team but does not perform in times of need they think of themselves as Hercules India is nothing without virat and rohit they shouldn't be rotating team so much changing captain when just 3 months away of World Cup

even umran malik "155 pace bowler next Shoaib Akhter Kashmir express" got hit 9 runs an over no line and length and bowling 140 pace man couldn't even play in second half of ppl

Wrong translation, it’s missing rofl rofl.

Going through the Rahul Dravid interview/ conference- this has gotten me worried tbh. I have quoted some of his statements from the interview he's given and it is quite baffling that a respected personality like him has had to resort to stating such things.

"To be honest, at this stage in the cycle with the Asia Cup and World Cup coming up, and with the injuries we have, we have to look at the bigger picture. We can't worry about every single game, every single series. If we do that, it will be a mistake."
Is he trying to prepare the fans for an Asia Cup loss? How much more will we be experimenting? Tomorrow, Dravid may use the Asia Cup as a sandbox and we might see a hitherto new team, new captain play against Nepal.

"Honestly, this was our last chance to be able to try out some of our players,"
You belong to the BCCI! I am quite appalled that they cannot arrange a series with SA/NZ/ENg/Aus right before the World Cup. It might be a good option for them to play a tri-nation with any one the above mentioned 2 to get an understanding of the ground realities plaguing this team. *I didn't say Pakistan for obvious reason- so please dont jump on me

"It gives us an opportunity to make some decisions on players. We just felt in a series like this, with just two-three matches to go before the Asia Cup, playing Virat and Rohit honestly would not have given us too many answers"
Does this mean that the NCA rehabs arent going to make it in time? Plus, will they walk straight into the side? Would it not have been a wise decision to let them play the Asian Games- no matter how weak the opposition is?

Furthermore, the statement on Rohit/ Virat-by that logic, Dravid should play the 3rd ODI with the same line-up from the 2nd. Why even bother getting Rohit and Viat back in?

"But he's(Surya) also learning about one-day cricket"

Just Wow! Might as well get someone like Vijay Shankar who has played in a World Cup and knows about the ODI game

Relax guys. It's a masterstroke. They want the ICT fans to have no/little hope for the upcoming WC.

No hope = less pressure = increased chances of winning

On a serious note, a disappointing outing by the team. This does give the impression that the players are participating in the series only for the sake of it. If the goal was to give the new players a chance, what was the need to have seniors in the side? Could have simply rested them.

Slowly but surely it's becoming certain that Dravid is best suited in the U19 arena where he can churn out players for the national team. I don't know how long is his contract but getting a feeling that that's exactly what will happen post WC23.

"When a clown moves in to a palace, it doesn't make him a king. It just makes the palace a circus"

The clowns in this case are Rahul Dravid, Vikram Rathour and Mhambrey!

Until we crash out of CWC 2023. Reports stating that he isn't interested in continuing further. He wishes to remain at NCA and have some family time. It is sad that aplayer of his stature is bound towards another humiliating India exit from a World Cup.
