Now welcome to the Port of Spain for the second test match between New Zealand and West Indies. It does not have the conditions that were present in the first match today it is an overcast day with medium chance of rain and it is very humid. The pitch is hard and there should be a great bounce for the bowlers. The batsmen are in the middle for the toss and let?s join them. The coins up and now it is down and it is yet again in favor of Lara. He chose to bat first and it seems to be a good decision. The line up is the same for the West Indians but the Kiwis have made a few adjustments. Vincent comes in for Nevin and Styris in for Oram.

It ought to be an exciting day of cricket we hope that rain does not disrupt it.

So with the end of the West Indian Innings they have put up a massive total of 432 in 67 overs. Ganga (82) Jacobs (79) Banks (56) were the top scorers for West Indies While McMillan (4-161) and Vettori (3-125) were the top wicket takers. It is almost at the end of the first day and it seems like New Zealand will have to work hard for their victory. It seems that West Indies are looking forward to make the score 1-1 or are probably looking for a draw by ending all five day.So the stats are.

So after 95 overs of tiring cricket the New Zealand have declared at 443-8, 11 runs ahead of West Indies. Although it seemed foolish the captain said that Sinclair was way too tired and if he had continued for some more time he would have not been able to field and if he had become out there was no point at continuing with inexperienced batsman. He also added that he did not want to end the game as a draw by wasting time. It was surprising though that Sinclair remained not out till the end accompanying all the batsman who came to the crease. It seemed that no bowler could stop him. The top scorers were Sinclair (200*) Vettori (51) and Astle (36). Sinclair and Vettori made a wonderful 8th wicket partnership of 95 to thwart the West Indian bowlers. Collymore (2-116) and Edwards (1-86) were the top bowlers. They had begun their batting on the end of first day which was washed away by rain and continued till the third day to 11:54

After seeing the poor coverage by ten sports the West Indian cricket board have handed the responsibility to the espn who seem delighted.we met the manager of the West Indian manager of ESPN.

"We were delighted when the jury selected us" he said "We have a few plans of video clippings for those who miss the action by seeing only those boring stills"

After 79 overs West Indies have declared at 469/7 with a lead of 458 runs at day four. Sarwan (192) and Ganga (82) were the top contributors and Vettori (3-148) and Tuffey (2-61) were the top wicket takers. They took an entire day for this result and really frustrated the bowlers especially McMillan and the game will either be a tie or a narrow victory to the West Indians who are the favorites for the match. The opening partnerships were great and high and those were the real reason for victory for the West Indians. Sarwan was really disappointed to be out at 192 when he was so close to Sinclair?s score of 200

The Awarding Ceremony: -

Voldemort: Hello and welcome to this awarding ceremony which gives out the awards to the best batsman, bowling and all rounder of the series between New Zealand and West Indies at West Indies. But before that lets talk to the captains, first the captain of the team on the losing side. What do you think of the match Lara?

Lara: Well in the second match I really thought that we would win seeing that we had posted a huge total in both the innings. However Sinclair dampened our spirits. So when we made 469 in the second innings we thought we had them. But yet again the top order put us down and we lost. I had really thought we had won the match.

Voldemort: Thank you. Now on to Fleming. What do you think of the game?

Fleming: It was a wonderful experience. We liked our innings especially the Second Innings. We won because of Sinclair. His dedication in the first and second innings sealed our victory.
