Everyone has a character. If everyone reveals, you force the Mafia to make stuff up. Its a easyish way to hone in, if not completely catch out mafia.

They either post now, and risk someone else having that character, or their character is an outlier, or they wait and try to fit it in last, or they flat out refuse to reveal.

Eg. If you were to claim Thor, instantly everyone knows one of the two of us is lying.
